Bruschetta, panini's, salads and wine.

Apparently this place is all about the bruschetta, though I opted for the Teriyaki Chicken Panini. This one was better than I expected. The bread was crisp and not greasy as some are. It was ample food without being too much. Panini's, bruschetta and salads pretty much make up the whole menu. The... read more

Met a chick here on a date once and I didn't like her, so we didn't naked afterwards. You drink wine here and have small plates and do the suburban thing.

Met someone here for a work meeting and it was very nice. Good wine, good appetizers, overall, very nice. Tables were a little close together, if it was full it may not have been as great of a meeting place, but since it was only half full, it was fine.

The best way I can describe the food is american tapas. Lots of good options, half of which are unintentionally vegetarian and served in portions that do not overwhelm. The wines are also very good, and priced fairly

Pros: as parking in downtown San Mateo, particularly Fri and Sat PMS, city garage a block away very good. 16 screen movies about 400 yards away. Smack in the middle of shops, other places to eat, bars. Decent food, tasty but nothing to write home about. Other reviewers here spell out what they have, in a fairly deep menu and... More

My wife and her friends love meeting there. I like it too. Good small plates, and most folks make sure to order their bruschette. Good wine menu as well. Nice decor. Comfortable and predictably good.

Quiet enough for conversation, really been several times with lady friends for lunches. Never rushed, wine choices ample (prices by glass 1/2 off weekdays 12pm - mid-afternoons). Yes, bruschetta excellent choices and flavors, platter four large ones great for sharing Salads yummy. Parking very convenient next door in 2 story inexpensive SM city lot -- upper story access on 4th... More

Came here for the food but left work a greater appreciation for the wine list. Very close to SFO, so a quick zip off the 101.

Good food in a great ambience. Love the variety of bruschetta. Wine selection is good as well. Can gert very crowded on weekends. Be prepared for a long wait or go in much later say around 9 pm.

This is a great place for lunch with friends or spouse. The service is great - very attentive servers. We always order the bruschetta combo pick of four items. A crowd favorite is the apple with brie and smoked salmon bruschetta. We double up on the apple and brie as everyone wants more than one serving of that combo. I... More
