This restaurant is at the corner of San Mateo downtown. They serve good Chinese food; cooking after order not reheating after order. You can tell it from the sweet and sour shrimp, pot sticker and other dishes. I like their fish and chives dumpling and my husband likes their pot sticker. If you are looking for something a little different, try Everyday Beijing. The restaurant specializes in Beijing-style cuisine, which favors flour and noodle ingredients (as opposed to rice dishes.) Good xiaolongbao and lamb kebabs. Don't order stuff for American tastes (i.e sweet and sour pork). They just don't do it right.

Very good noodle house. They make their own noodles fresh daily. It's a hole in-the-wall place so don't expect too much in the decor but the food quality is top notch. Try their Szechuan Pork Rib Spicy beef noodle. Price is typical and portion size is usually good.
