We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday on a week night. The lower section was kind of full and they offered us a seat there, but we didnt want to sit in the busy area plus didnt want to risk my toddler running off to the Caltrain platform. We asked for seating upstairs and even though upstairs was empty... More

Great experience. We had reservations and arrived a little early, but were seated as soon as we got there. Our waitress came over right away and asked if we wanted to order drinks - which we did. She went over the menu with us, and told us how everything went. We placed our order, and the salads were brought within... More

Made a reservation for dinner through groupon. We went there to celebrate my husbands bday. Our waiter, Krystyna, was also really great, she was very thorough in explaining the menu and the flavors of all the dishes to help us choose what to order. Spinach Artichoke Cheese Fondue, spinach, with chopped sourdough bread, broccoli, cauliflower, and green apples Ordered Caesar... More

Made a reservation for dessert. Note: If only doing the chocolate fondue you have to go before 5pm or after 10pm. We went with the latter with a reservation. Greeted at the door by a great hostess and she actually ended up being our server. Good service, good quality chocolate fondue. Plenty of free parking around the place at that... More

This is not your normal pedestrian dinner place or plan. It is definitely a unique atmosphere and location. We went for a Mother's Day and Birthday so it was definitely an event atmosphere so it worked. I would not recommend if you want a quick dinner or have a full night planned. We brought children and it was tough for... More

Melting Pot is interesting dining experience but I would not rate it highly in terms of food quality or service and the passing trains can derail the whole experience. The pricing is very high considering you're cooking it yourself and you're choices are hindered by the size of your group. For example, we had a table for 10, thus had... More

It's an interesting place, with a unique layout to the tables to enhance the privacy for each group or booth. The bar seems well stocked and good ambiance. The food involves some minimal self-preparation, which adds conversation to a dinner date, family or friends meet-up. That being said, the end-result is pretty safe and subdued flavored food. The cocktails are... More

We went there to celebrate one of our frens birthday. I have to say it was a wonderful experience but little too expensive for what is served. Nevertheless it is a place to visit and experience once at least! We ordered delicious cheese fondue and the wonderful chocolate fondue for dessert. Service is top notch and so is the location!... In the 90s, the Melting Pot was one of my favorite restaurants when I lived in Oregon, and it was such a treat to drive from Eugene to Portland, and gorge on a wonderful meal that started with a cheese fondue of your choice, then a salad, followed by a meat/poultry/seafood plate of raw food that you cooked in oil...
