Went with friends who said it was best sushi place in town. Well the sushi was ok. Nothing special average actually. But the service was atrocious. I don't know if they sent our waiter home or what but we ended up asking servers in other areas for drink refills, our check etc.... Great company but not a very good dining... More

We have been going to Katsu for over 20 years. The sushi manager/chef Mikki has always been there. He loves his job and will make it all, on menu and off! In fact all the sushi chefs have been there almost as long (I like that). The food here is amazing and always fresh. As I said 20 years and... More

Our teenagers like going here because it's an experience and they love Asian food. There are teppan tables (chef cooks in front of you) or you can sit at the sushi bar. The food is consistently good, although service can be slow. Prices are reasonable for the most part, considering the expertise it takes to cook at the table. This... More

We took our daughter out for her birthday and a friend recommended Katsu to us. We say at the Sushi bar and were taken care of by Kat the chef. He made the most wonderful sushi and rolls, oyster shots and even had his master chef sensei make Origami animals for us! Our favorite Sushi place now!

The sushi bar is great! And the fish is freshly sliced - we know because we always try & sit directly at bar so we can watch everything. A lot of the time we just tell Mickey to surprise us and he does with great new items or combinations. There is a strong stable of regulars - sushi afficianados who... More

Yummy food! Enjoy going there with friends. Service seems best at the sushi bar vs. tables in restaurant. Probably because Micky, Sam & Kit are so awesome. Also, if you don't know what you want, just tell the guys what fish you like & they'll come up with some delicious sushi for you!

What happened to this place. We had gone here 5 years ago and it was the best sushi we ever ate! Hands down the best hot and spicy tuna hand rolls, but now....omgosh. Just horrible.

This is a great place for a small party. Similar to Bene Hana where you sit around the cooking area and watch the chef prepare your food. Lots of fun and the food is good too!

Worst service I've ever had! We had no server for the first 45 min and the hostess said there was no manager working to talk to. Even after asking the server twice, we had to take additional napkins and chopsticks from an empty table, and no one ever brought a water I asked for. The sushi was mediocre - the... More

The spicy garlic edamame was tasty, unfortunately that was the highlight. The Chef's Special Sashimi had too many unknown, and frankly unappealing, items. Won't be back.
