I will have to admit, if you previously asked me to identify my top 20 favorite restaurants in the North County area, the Old Spaghetti factory would most likely not have been one of them. However, because two of my grandchildren were visiting us and they decided the Old Spaghetti factory was ideal, I relented and headed for the one... More

We expected a wait on a Sat evening, so the wait for a table was not an issue. Our issues were that we were seated at a booth where the light was burned out, very dark and impossible to read the menu. We asked to be reseated & first were told the open booth we saw was not in the... More

We arrived there at peak time so the wait was long ... but that is to be expected and after our meal I understand why. The wait was far less painful with a very reasonably priced happy hour round of beers and cocktails ($4.oo 20oz Stone IPA's and $6.50 Capecods) and the amazing service of Colin our bartender who repeatedly... You can always count on great food, and good quantity and quality. No complaints. However, when we arrived at 8pm (Family Party) the staff was not quite ready to feed our number of 8. We waited for 20 min for our Bread to arrive, and then a bit longer for the food. We were, of course, finished with our meal... More

Went to the Old Spaghetti Factory with a rather large group of people on a Saturday night. Walked up let the host know we were there- we had called ahead- maybe an hour before we went. Waited about 5 minutes for the table and we were sitting down ordering within a few minutes. Food came quick, they didn't make a... More

Atmosphere was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everybody looked like they were enjoying themselves. The line was long to get a table so I placed an order to go. After a short wait, I was brought my food and was on my way. The bread that was supposed to come with my meal was not in the bag when... More

The service and food quality is inconsistent but never terrible. I like the mizthra cheese and the Italian sodas and the lasagna are pretty competent. My kid likes the place so we go from time to time.

Great atmosphere, beautiful bldg. Service and food good, but $8.50 for a four oz glass of house Wine leaves a bad taste in your mouth! I had a cup of soup, wife had angel hair pasta with chicken And two glasses of wine. $35.00 +

We saw the Old Spaghetti Factory while visiting the San Diego area. There used to be a few of these restaurants in the L.A. Area, but they closed up years ago. So never having tried the L.A. Restaurants we wanted to try the one we found in San Marcos. Great building with very nice indoor decor. The food was average... More
