I have been going to this restaurant for several years. The decor is very appealing as is the service. The food is quite good. However, it is located in a strip mall with lots of other small businesses. It is a good place for lunching out in small groups.

This was our first visit to Northern Spirits which is part of Nattiyas Thai restaurant. We went there for the music because they have Jazz on Friday and Saturday. The music was wonderful and not too loud. The restaurant was busy. From the entrance to the restaurant you know this is a great place. It is simply done right. We... More

Unsure whether my husband would enjoy Thai or not, he agreed to give it a try. Let me clarify that this is a small restaurant in a strip mall with a mix of fast food, dental offices, and personal services salons. So atmosphere is more lunch-oriented than dinner, in my opinion. He and I both REALLY enjoyed my peanut Curry.... More

Maybe it was an off day for them, but I was not impressed. Short summary: Way overpriced for Thai food, small portions, lackluster service, mediocre taste. Nice décor and clean. 2/5 rating. More Details: I've been wanting to visit this place ever since I drove by a few months ago. The decoration was nice and everything looked clean. I liked... More

In all fairness to all the people who really enjoy Thai, I guess I'm not familiar with it. I thought I was but I guess I'm not. I read all these reviews and decided to try it - after all, I enjoy Chinese and other Asian food. Well, they are ALL SO different. Even within each country depending on what... More

My wife and I dine here often and enjoy the genuine Thai food along with the decor and polite service. We returned last month for a light dinner and patronized their attached bar and lounge Northern Spirits next door. We shared the Steak Salad and Tempura Shrimp appetizer while my wife had the Mango Martini and I savored the Thai... More

Good food, elegance, and a friendly staff, what more could you want? Many great dishes in a restaurant owned by a Thai native that oversees all phase of the restaurant operations equals an excellent place to enjoy Thai food.

My partner and I have been "researching" Thai restaurants in North County for many, many years. This is certainly one of the best. I can't pick one that is overall best, but the red curry here is probably the best I have eaten anywhere in the whole country. With shrimp and brown rice is a heavenly dish. Our tempura appetizer... Great Food, service was a little slow and pricey for sure. But when the food comes you know you found a great place. I have had Thai in Thailand and have to say outside of that, this was one of the best I have had

Visited with a friend for dinner. The food was excellent , the sevice was good and the ambience acceptable for one thing. The one complaint I have was the TV above the bar was blaring with a sports channel. It ruined it for us because we came to talk. No one was sitting at the bar accept for the wait servers... More
