Fun Argentinean Place in San Marcos...Good Food...music!

This little gem is inside a strip mall type area. John and I went on Tuesday night, which is called "Bohemian" night. I'm guessing it is some sort of live band karaoke...only... Argentinean style. Very small place...intimate. Two musicians who play astoundingly beautiful south american... read more

Oh my goodness, I have normally stopped by the shop next door for lunch and never twice about stopping into this Argentinian restaurant. I am not sure why because their menu is outside and the prices are reasonable. I had to try the empanadas and the Argentinian fries.... and they were delicious. I added the chimichurri sauce to the empanadas... More

I've tried the following here and they are all delicious: any of the empanadas, beef milanesa, and beef milanesa sandwich. The only downside is they close for a few hours between lunch and dinner, and they are closed on Sunday so make sure to pay attention what time they're open

Excelent baked empandas, we ordered chicken and cheese empandas, and my son orded a rib eye medium cook, we even asked before if it was really a rib eye cut like most good argentines restaurants that offer steaks. The steak was not even 10oz as the menu says and the steak was really a thin cut, but really thin. I... More

I love eating at this lovely restaurant. Burgers, steak, fries, salads, beer, wine and yes Empanadas. Sounds like an American diner, but it is really an Argentine's version of the diner. Same food we American's love but with an Argentinian twist-delicious that is. The Empanadas are a must, I love the Spicy Beef but many think they are too spicy.... More

I am usually solo and a couple of months ago watched other people/tables being serviced while I finally had to wave and ask for attention. It was not a good feeling - and it's not because I don't tip well. 20% is my 'at least' tip ... and the lousy service meant that I haven't been back. The manager apologized... More

Friendly service, delicious food! Don't be scared if you don't know what "Argentinian" food is--think mini-gourmet hot pockets called "empanadas" and sandwiches, burgers, and steaks made with top quality meats. My favorite dish is the steak salad which has thin sliced beef, fresh greens, blue cheese, grilled onions and crostini with avocado. It's huge, so I take some home for... More

Wife is Argentinian. She thinks this is really good Argentinian food for a very reasonable price! Most importantly, they had a party of 30 that just showed up and took over most of the restaurant but they turned it around very quickly - very impressed!

Everything I've ever had on the menu here has been delicious, and now they have live Latin guitar music from Tuesdays through Fridays, and on the Sundays when they do their wine pairings. Amazing ambiance for such a tiny place!

There aren't that many Argentinian restaurants in San Diego and I was so excited when this one opened up and was so relieved that it's actually fantastic! They honestly have the best baked empanadas I've ever tasted!!! I could eat so many of them it's not even funny! My other favorite is their beef milanesa. The food isn't necessarily cheap,... More
