I love eating at this lovely restaurant. Burgers, steak, fries, salads, beer, wine and yes Empanadas. Sounds like an American diner, but it is really an Argentine's version of the diner. Same food we American's love but with an Argentinian twist-delicious that is. The Empanadas are a must, I love the Spicy Beef but many think they are too spicy.... More

I am usually solo and a couple of months ago watched other people/tables being serviced while I finally had to wave and ask for attention. It was not a good feeling - and it's not because I don't tip well. 20% is my 'at least' tip ... and the lousy service meant that I haven't been back. The manager apologized... More

Friendly service, delicious food! Don't be scared if you don't know what "Argentinian" food is--think mini-gourmet hot pockets called "empanadas" and sandwiches, burgers, and steaks made with top quality meats. My favorite dish is the steak salad which has thin sliced beef, fresh greens, blue cheese, grilled onions and crostini with avocado. It's huge, so I take some home for... More

Wife is Argentinian. She thinks this is really good Argentinian food for a very reasonable price! Most importantly, they had a party of 30 that just showed up and took over most of the restaurant but they turned it around very quickly - very impressed!

Everything I've ever had on the menu here has been delicious, and now they have live Latin guitar music from Tuesdays through Fridays, and on the Sundays when they do their wine pairings. Amazing ambiance for such a tiny place!

There aren't that many Argentinian restaurants in San Diego and I was so excited when this one opened up and was so relieved that it's actually fantastic! They honestly have the best baked empanadas I've ever tasted!!! I could eat so many of them it's not even funny! My other favorite is their beef milanesa. The food isn't necessarily cheap,... More

What a nice treat this place is...I ordered the lunch special caprese empanada and a ham & cheese. The food came out quickly, the taste was delicious and the chimichurri sauce at the table added just the right amount of extra flavors. a must try!

Our first experience wasn't the best but we figured they must have been having an "off" day. The woman who took our order was so sweet, elegant, and informative about their menu. We came specifically for the grass fed steaks and organic salad. So we both ordered steak. I had medium well and my husband had medium. When we got... More

My 3rd visit was for dinner yesterday and I tried the Spicy emplanada! It was delicious - and not as hot-spicy as I thought it would be. They didn't have the skirt steak so I did another steak with salad. The steak was quite large and more rare than medium - the taste was wonderful - soft but still chewy.... More
