I have never quite understood why one clam chowder could be rated better than others, but Splash Cafe is noted for their clam chowder. Personally, I like their sandwiches. Service time can suffer during lunch hours, when it's mobbed by (I guess) Cal Poly students and San Luis Obispo High students, but it's a good place to grab a sandwich.

We searched for a place (using tripadvisor) to eat and saw all the great reviews for this place. We had the clam chowder in the bread bowls and it was absolutely delicious! It hit the spot! We can't wait to go back!

The bakery items looked awesome but i was there for lunch. I had the AHI Tacos and a Garden Salad with Sesame Ginger dressing. Both were an excellent choice. I highly recommend Splash. The Sandwiches also looked very good.
