You want fresh sushi prepared right, this is it. Everything possible comes local: Morro Bay to Santa Barbara: albacore, salmon, oysters, prawns. A chalkboard tells you what came from Hawaii or Alaska. Ate here twice, same impeccable quality. Check the chalkboard for daily chef specials, had baked clams and local oysters on half shell, both memorable, Even if you you... More

Went here based on the reviews from Tripadvisor. It did not disappoint. Went on a Sunday night around 5:30. We made reservations, but we did not need them. The restaurant was nearly full and stayed busy, but I never saw anyone wait more than 5 minutes for a table. The sushi was delicious. I would recommend ordering the Tuna Tataki.... More

Delicious food!! This place was a little difficult to find - but well worth the search! I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon dinner - excellently cooked and great tasting salmon served by friendly staff. Looking forward to dining here on our next visit!

Like the other reviewers we had a little trouble finding the place initially but wow it was worth it. Tried the chefs plate of nigiri which was delicious and the eel and shrimp tempura rolls were unbelievably tender and tasty. Our main dish was apparently delayed by five minutes which we hadn't even noticed but for the inconvenience they comped... More

This restaurant is a little hard to find as it is in the back of a small mall, it's name is not on the list outside of the parking area but the hunt is worth the food. The fish is super fresh and the variety is huge-many imported from Japan. If you are looking for sushi, go here you cannot... More

Food was fresh. Literally saw them carrying fish into the restaurant. A little challenge to find the restaurant and while it looks mediocre from a design standpoint, the food was awesome. Friendly service as well. Interesting desserts!

This is a popular place but we had no delay getting seated when we arrived shortly after 5pm on a Saturday. There was a steady buildup of customers throughout our meal and by the time we left it was very busy. There is a wide variety of choices. I had a grilled fish dinner (I've forgotten the species), which was... More

I have been staying in Santa Maria area for a week for business travel. I found Goshi is the best Japanese restaurant I had in this region! I had a big dinner with a Sashimi set and Hokkaido don but I finish all as they are very fresh & Yummy! I must visit this restaurant again when I have chance... More

It's a hard place to find but we were so happy we did! It's quite small so had a wait but the wait was definitely worth it. We started with the albacore tataki which was to die for. I had the black cod with miso glaze and my friend had tempura combo with salmon. Everything was excellent and service was... More
