The food is very good (we had fries, onion rings and tri-tip sandwich) and there is a screen on every wall to watch any and all sports.

We had late dinner here on our last night in SLO. It was a fun place and heart warming to see all the kids saying goodbye for the summer, obviously the go to place. The tri-tip salad was huge and very good. I was sad to leave the leftovers behind.

We had the bbq pork/pig sandwich and it was very good. Excellent fries and reasonable price for very casual SLO burger and bbq spot. It was noisy but that is exactly what you would expect in an informal local when they are super busy at lunch time.

I met two local girls at a tiki bar for happy hour downtown. I asked them where to eat and they suggested that I dine at Firestone grill and order the tri-tip and the local version of pinto beans. It was very tasty, and the protion was huge. I took the leftovers back to my room, and reheated it for... More

This is our go-to place every time we visit SLO. The tri-tip sandwiches are some of the best I've had and it's in San Luis Obispo...doesn't get much better than that!

We ordered Tri-tip BBQ sandwich. Our sandwiches were prepared quickly. It had a lot of meat and was very tender. You can ask for extra BBQ sauce. The place was full of people. Looks like one of the more popular places to eat in San Luis Obispo.

We love this place! Often bring out-of-town guests to try it. It never disappoints. The tri tip sandwich is amazing! They also have good beers. The prices may be higher than other places but very reasonable for quality food. Sometimes the line is out the door, but the wait is worthwhile.

I've been going to the Firestone for over 10 years since my kids first attended Cal Poly. Nice place, good food, friendly staff but much to my disappointment, I've seen their prices steadily rise (and rise). The tri tip sandwich used to be around 8 bucks and now it's nearly 10. The pig sandwich was around 6 but now it's... More

My nephews were unanimous, you haven't had a good beef sandwich until you have a Tri-Tip. Gotta admit, it was very good! No wonder they call this their favorite.

This was a large, very fun, high energy college hang out. The beer, burgers, salads, and hot dogs were all delicious. Don't order more than one fries or onion rings because they are huge. The college students were out in force on Memorial day weekend.
