Because of the rave reviews I went for the tri tip. WOW!!! It was so tasty I couldn't stop eating it. I would've been fine eating half and taking the other half home. Next time I'll TRY to show some restraint and do that. Make sure you get a side of bar-b-q sauce. It is over the top!!! Can't wait... more

I guess the management/ownership has found a way to keep the lines of waiting people from wrapping around the block. Although the food is generally very good (the tri-tip is EXCELLENT), the employees get away with behavior that would get them fired in most other "service industry" establishments. After 6 years of visiting our frat son through college, I must say we will truly miss our regular trips to Fireside!! The tri-tip, salads and onion rings are amazing!! I ordered a well done tri tip. It was not, so I asked server to cook more. Server blew up, took bun in uncovered hand than looked through each slice of tri tip while another server took other half of sandwich in uncovered hand and looked through each slice, than pulled out a slice and angrily waved it at me... more

I have been to Firestone many times and never had a problem. I always sit outside to enjoy the fresh air. I either order a steak salad, or burger. I've never had any problem with the food or help.
