Enjoyed the morning because of the service good location. Local produce, music selection added to the ambience.
I have been wanting to eat at Big Sky Cafe but just never seemed to have the chance when visiting Slo, I had pork lion and mashed potatoes - perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. We got there a bit before the dinner rush started and were quickly seated. Server was very attentive throughout the meal. I will be going back!
We have enjoyed breakfasts here for years. My wife loves the Johnny Cakes, I love the huevos rancheros and most everything else. Dinners are nothing special, but they do have a good list of wines at reasonable prices.
This reasonably priced restaurant offers many traditional meals but with an interesting twist. Other offerings have an international flavor. They use high quality ingredients and try to source locally. This restaurant has long been a local favorite.

Big Sky is one of our favorite restaurants Much of the food comes locally and is moderately priced It can be noisy-so atmosphere is not great but that's because it's always crowded
Great local favorite place to dine! We always take out of town guests to this spot! Everything on the menu is wonderful!

We had been here a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it but were disappointed this time. I had the beef ribs which really was a large bowl of veggies with polenta and very little meat. My friend had the gumbo which she enjoyed. Another had the steak which was not memorable.
My husband and I found out about Big Sky from Trip Advisor. It was perfect for a slow Sunday lunch! Spacious, good music (they were playing old soul/motown) and a wide and varied menu full of fresh ingredients. Great for vegans and vegetarians! The wine list is limited but with an array of varietals by the glass. Seems good for... More
