Lots and lots of options for vegetarians, and some unique dishes. One of my favorite dishes there was "Turkish Muhammara", must try. We tried a bunch of dishes, and liked some. One dish i would not recommend trying here is the "Vegetarian Vietnamese Banh Mi Sandwich", my taste buds definitely did not like that. But overall a great place and... More

This is a great place to eat. The menu is mainly organic and eco friendly without tasting like eating cardboard. the wine list is very good and they price per glass is very reasonable, usually 3 or 4 bucks less for the same wine than most of the wine bars im SLO. Staff in friendly and attentive and the restaurant... More

We were at the Big Sjy Cafe for dinner - it's in very nice space and has a very large selectiom of good wines by the glass. Dinner was mixed - one person had an appetizer and main course hat contained ingredients not normally expected when ordering - such as mint in a spring roll. The rest of our party... More

We stopped at The Big Sky for a light lunch before checking in to our hotel. The food was fresh and the service was excellent. Not cheap by any means, but nice to have freshly prepared food using high quality ingredients. Definitely worth a visit.

We didn't have a huge meal but stopped in for early dinner - Great wine list, flavorful dishes (loved the pozole!) and good service.

A hearty portion of Lobster Mac & Cheese was my choice. First time I've ordered Mac & Cheese at a restaurant. It was rich, but delicious. Our group of six enjoyed our meals and visit. Would put it high on the list of many restaurants in SLO to choose from.

Casual, relaxed dining. Healthy choices on the menu. Flavorful, fresh tasty food. Well worth checking out the next time you travel through San Luis Obispo.

I live here. The best restaurant by far in our town. I am addicted to their BLT sandwich, featuring delicious thick bacon. But many other dishes, especially those unique to California, using fresh, organic ingredients. I guarantee a positive experience.

My husband and I had dinner at Big Sky Café on a 2-night stay in San Luis Obispo. We had to wait in line outside for about 20 minutes, but it was worth the wait. The restaurant has an attractive Southwest décor with an open ("big sky") feel--actually, the front of the restaurant is literally open to the outside (at... More
