Loving Luna Red for slo many reasons

I liked Luna Red. Went there on a recommendation and it was very populated in a Sat evening. The usher and waiter were excellent and I sat out in the garden with a heater on. Got a good Malbec by the glass and tapas. The menu is limited in choices and few vegetarian choices but the dishes were quite good.... More

excellent spanish inspired cuisine with great craft beer /local wine offerings. Service was great, food very tasty and even gave my dog his own water bowl. Place gets crowded quickly especially Thurs nights during outdoor food fair in town.

in heart of downtown, great bar with an incredible whiskey sour ... we stopped for drinks before a movie. Had tapas also ... stuffed dates wrapped in bacon and bread with cutrus infused olive oil. YUM! Fast and friendly service!

Visiting SLO with our pup. Great tapas, different Latin inspired menu with good ambiance next to the SLO mission. Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. Our Golden was very welcomed!

This place has a good atmosphere, good service by friendly staff with the food quality pretty darn good (we had a seafood paella). If i had to say anything negative it would probably be that food & drink prices are fairly expensive but that seems to be the way in most places we have been to in California.

Don't miss this spot for good food, drinks and hanging out! The patio is delightful, the service professional and the food delish! A favorite spot when visiting our Cal Poly student -- a fun place to take her with her friends or just for the family. We like the paella and sangria. All the tapas were good. Have also enjoyed... The location by Mission Plaza is the best in town....the restaurant sits over the creek that winds through the town. The quality of the food is excellent. Wine costs are high and wait staff response has varied in quality. Still all and all a great place to spend an afternoon al fresco in an historic locale.

It was a nice menu with many good options. I felt the food was good but over priced so did not give it 5 stars. Overall it was a pleasant meal sitting in the patio and enjoying the atmosphere during our meal. We order several different items and all very good ... But none would I say were Fantastic.
