I had a delightful experience at LunaRed. The service was excellent and attentive, and the food was excellent. I enjoyed the raw oysters, served with two different dipping sauces, the bacon wrapped dates, and a wonderful fresh salad as my final dish. I also had a half glass of the Venato Pinot Grigio, the featured wine. I appreciated having the... More

We loved the menu at this friendly tapa restaurant and the tastes delivered. The heirloom tomato salad with pistachio vinaigrette, burrata cheese and purslane made the most of in season ingredients. It was delightful as was the grilled heart of romaine with blue cheese and a balsamic reduction. The flavors were so well balanced. We also really enjoyed the flatbread... More

My husband and I went here for lunch after doing some wine tasting. We got there around lunch time and had to wait 10 minutes for a table. There were plenty of tables available on the patio, but it seemed that service was a bit slow. I do want to note that one of the staff came by and made... More

Get the ceviche trio and you won't be disappointed. Great wine selection (duh - it's SLO) and service was top notch.

We had a relaxing, week-day lunch on the patio. The food is very good, I loved the calamari and stuffed peppers especially! The service is a little too relaxed but super friendly. If we had more time, it would have been perfect. They do not get you in and out quickly here which is a good thing!! We will definitely... More

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting SLO! The tapas were unbelievable and the ambiance in the outdoor patio was wonderful. Service was good and although the food was a little pricey, it was worth it in the end.

We were a party of 8 for brunch - one in a wheelchair and they had an impromptu canceling and were able to take us. The staff were so accommodating (they let us eat our brought in birthday dessert, our dog was outside the restaurant and they brought her some water and an umbrella, they brought extra umbrellas for us... I would like to give this restaraunt a good review, because the food was really excellent. However.... We arrived at a couple minutes before six on a Monday evening. I'm confident of the time because the parking meters are off duty at six, and we debated whether to gamble that we wouldn't get a ticket in six minutes. We were... More

Wow! Great restaurant! My friend and I enjoyed a lovely night on the patio. The food was very good. We had bacon wrapped, chorizo stuffed dates, the Spanish table (meats, cheeses, bread, fruit), and the black bean, rice and avocado fritters? All were amazing. Great ambiance and service. Can't wait to go back!

Sat outside, no wait at 8pm on a Saturday night. The lamb kabobs were a bit fatty. The clam and bacon flatbed was wonderful as were the calamari. The grilled lettuce was good. French 75 very tasty. And the warn olive oil cake amazing. All and all a nice evening. I'd come back.
