We had a relaxing, week-day lunch on the patio. The food is very good, I loved the calamari and stuffed peppers especially! The service is a little too relaxed but super friendly. If we had more time, it would have been perfect. They do not get you in and out quickly here which is a good thing!! We will definitely... More

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting SLO! The tapas were unbelievable and the ambiance in the outdoor patio was wonderful. Service was good and although the food was a little pricey, it was worth it in the end.

We were a party of 8 for brunch - one in a wheelchair and they had an impromptu canceling and were able to take us. The staff were so accommodating (they let us eat our brought in birthday dessert, our dog was outside the restaurant and they brought her some water and an umbrella, they brought extra umbrellas for us... I would like to give this restaraunt a good review, because the food was really excellent. However.... We arrived at a couple minutes before six on a Monday evening. I'm confident of the time because the parking meters are off duty at six, and we debated whether to gamble that we wouldn't get a ticket in six minutes. We were... More

Wow! Great restaurant! My friend and I enjoyed a lovely night on the patio. The food was very good. We had bacon wrapped, chorizo stuffed dates, the Spanish table (meats, cheeses, bread, fruit), and the black bean, rice and avocado fritters? All were amazing. Great ambiance and service. Can't wait to go back!

Sat outside, no wait at 8pm on a Saturday night. The lamb kabobs were a bit fatty. The clam and bacon flatbed was wonderful as were the calamari. The grilled lettuce was good. French 75 very tasty. And the warn olive oil cake amazing. All and all a nice evening. I'd come back.

We enjoy tapas restaurants because you can order a wide variety of small dishes and share around the table. This restaurant had a number of creative dishes in addition to the traditional Spanish tapas; I especially enjoyed the tartine with jamon serrano ham, nectarines, arugula, and goat cheese. The service was very good, and the location near the river is... More

We went here on a date on the 4th of July. The regular outdoor seating had a wait, so we sat at the bar. We ordered crab ravioli, which were homemade pasta, and the zucchini/hummus flatbread and fried chickpeas for me. The dishes were small, which you'd expect from tapas, but quite expensive for what it was in my opinion.... More

After reading many reviews we decided to try it. A little disappointed. This easily could be a five star restaurant with a little help by the owners and managers. On the nigh we visited ( a Monday) the kitchen was out of sync…….. We were promptly seated and waiter came right over. We decided on a picture of Sangria. Nothing... More

My granddaughter lives in SLO and is a big fan of Luna Red's. After going there for the first time with her I can understand why. We went during happy hour when a wide selection of tapas were $5 each. My most favorite item was the roasted beet salad - it was so delicious! There's a wide variety of foods... More
