Great customer service, the best food, and comfortable. Been there 3 times in 3 days. Great carved meats. My favorite meal was turkey drumstick, mashed potatoes, caesar salad. You pick what you you want in the line, pay at the end. Usually $12.-$16. Bottom line= If you are on the Oakland side of the Bay- Go there. Sunday brunch too.

This is a wonderful place for hot meals and sandwiches. Meat is carved fresh in front of you and the daily hot specials and soups are great. If you like a lighter meal, get the senior special. Plenty of parking and seating. Has a full bar for those who want a drink or beer with your food.

Location: Right off east 14th and Hesperian! Customer Service: Friendly staff! Decor: Very cabin like is the feel I get from all the wooden interior. Presentation of Food: Cafeteria style! How did the food taste?: YUM! why haven't I been here before!? Somebody suggested the red cabbage as a side and I totally got it and was not mad at... More

Been going here for many years and never had an experience like this afternoon. What happened to the friendly service? Asked for a turkey sandwich on a roll open face and the line cook wouldn't do it. He said you could have a open face on white or wheat only. I had a bowl of soup and picked up the... More

Love the food here! 99% of the time I would take it to go and eat at home. This is a must stop food stop for me when in the Bay Area. Wish we had one here in Fl!

Solid, reliable quality. Basically "comfort food". Fine for when you just don't want to cook and OK as a meeting place as it is quiet.

There is nothing exceptional about Harry's.No daring or visionary offerings. And certainly no "WOW" factor. Normally, not a candidate for an excellent review. However, I have been dining there for nearly thirty years. That is well over 3000 meals and I have never had an unsatisfactory experience. A creature of habit, I have rotated the same three meals at least... More

Since Oakland and Hayward no longer has hofbraus (as they are of the past for us old fogies), I was in search of a new favorite location. If you are not familiar with this type – they specialize in hot deli meat sliced to order in cafeteria style. We ordered: Turkey and Pastrami sandwiches with chicken penne pasta, German potato... First time for us. Good selection of food and drink for entire family and friends. Reasonable price with good portions. Check out draft craft brews. Nice feel to the place, even later at night. Quick for take out, hot meals and sandwiches. Very good house roast turkey. We will be back.

Lots of choices from prepared chili, dogs, chicken a la king, etc., to meats sliced from just roasted turkey, ham, corned beef and the like. Many salads and veggies. Huge cocktail area. Nice atmosphere. Cafeteria style. Senior specials.
