Great homemade comfort food.

The establishment is fine, but a little dark inside. It needs a bit of make-over, but who cares when the food is good. The menu isn't long or fancy, but so far everything has tasted wonderfully. Every time we have a chance we like to fork Harry's, the food is always fresh and the staff friendly.

I frequent here about once a 2 months if not a month. Great meat and potatoes type of place with a full bar and all at such an affordable price. I've already held many family dinners as well as Holiday gathering with friends and usually reserved the back room so we cha catch sports.

My fiancé and I live in the area, had visited here for the first time. It's kinda cafeteria style, which maybe off-putting to some, but i thought it was great being able to watch the guy carve out delicious roast beef from a giant slab of meat. The food is decent and the food is very affordable. There's a cool... More

Got the beef stroganoff and red cabbage. Food obviously spiced to blandness that will not offend anyone. Red cabbage barely sweet and barely had vinegar. Boring. Stroganoff the same and no sour cream. Boring. Did not even finish or box up. Reminds me of Claim Jumper lots of boring food for too high a price. Nice seating and interior though.... More

We went to Harry's Hofbrau in San Leandro. Tthis is our first visit to the San Leandro location. Its not our first to a Harry's Hofbrau as we frequent San Jose and Redwood City locations often. We liked the layout of San Leandro Harry's Hofbrau. We liked ordering cafeteria style. Again, the open faced turkey sandwich, this time with dressing... More

Harry's offer a sort of cafeteria style smorgasbord. Lots of choices right in front of you so you know exactly what you are getting. Daily specials and a very comfortable dining room. You will not be disappointed!

I usually dine at Harry's a few times a month. The food- all cuts of meats, soups, salads, and side dishes- is consistently good. The roast turkey is moist and flavorful. Two of my favorite side dishes are the roasted veggies and the turkey stuffing. Pleasant staff. The interior of the restaurant is very spacious with dark overtones, many booths,... More

As always the food is plentiful and fresh with a good choice and combination to chose what suits you. The Bar offers an excellent choice of brews that are well kept and reasonably priced,

I've lived in California for well over 20yrs., migrating from the East Coast. This review gleans experiences from being a Military Brat, Servicman and well-traveled. Diners are common and quite diverse in the region I migrated from. Harry's Hofbrau is an establishment that is more like a mid to upscaled diner, with their cafetria style and a little something special.... More
