The food is average and some waiting. Parking is poor but they have a back room for large groups. Have been to their other locations before but the quality at this one seems to be slipping. We had dinner but they also serve lunch and breakfast. Good place to eat if you have someone at Kaiser Hospital across the street.

I went to this place once before for a pick up order. It was on the weekend and the place was absolutely packed! I figured this place must be really good...or really cheap! Well, the food was just okay that time but I went back again about 2 months ago and ate inside. I had one of those combination plates... More

Each of the different La Pinata restaurants has a slightly different spread for breakfast buffet on Sundays. Their chilaquiles are good (both red and green), the revueltos con chorizo is good. The also have a good selection of other meats, like carnitas and fajita chicken.

Ordered specialities, as well as some of what you might call 'standard dishes'. All, including drinks were disappointing, especially the house special steak. The latter was over cooked, to include the shimp. The 'special' house seasoning was " absent". Won't be back.

Casual, family friendly, efficient service. Delicious food, quacamole especially tasty and fresh, server graciously accommodated a special request. Margaritas excellent, other drinks just average. (A huge plop of whipped cream on top of a frozen strawberry daiquiri??) Would definitely return when next in the area.

The parking lot looked full but most people are in the bar. Park where you can and the wait is not long to get into the restaurant. Very excellent food, great service, great prices.

The Sunday brunch at La Pinata San Leandro is very good. There are so many selections it's hard not to want to try everything. If the buffet is overwhelming, you can also order off the menu. At $13.95 for an "all you can eat" buffet, it's quite a bargain. We were a very large group of 18 and the service... More

La Pinata 2 is a real gem hidden in San Leandro. I mostly have had lunch herfe but the place is really lively at night especially the bar where Mexican Music has some people dancing in the aisles!! The Carnitas plate is wonderful and will satisfy the largest of appetites. All the regular Mexican dishes are great too! La Pinata... More

Wow, I had not been there in a while and it was smart to come a hour before happy hour. The place got full quick, the burrito was a pillow and I dug in and even if i was not that hungry, I still crushed it. My step son enjoyed it also and having next to the new Kaiser, that... More
