Came to paradisio for lunch during our work day and in honor of our wedding anniversary. It was poor quality all around beginning with service devoid of any friendliness. In addition the food was terrible. The Caesar salad was visually unappealing, stale croutons ( definitely not homemade) and aged anchovies. My husbands Niçoise salad had overdone tuna. Nothing resembling the... More

We were given a Paradiso Gift Certificate by my daughter & son-in-law who loved their first experience dining at Paradiso's. They'll probably become regulars. When we finally went for dinner, we were well-pleased that at 4:30 pm. on a weekday evening, we were able to choose our table, by the window. It filled up quickly around 5:00 pm. though. The... More

We were in the Bay Area for our anniversary, and wanted to mark the occasion with a special dinner in San Francisco. Totally fried from sight-seeing, we decided to stay close to the hotel instead. What a great idea! The food was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive. I'll also note that there were at least 2 other... More

Paradiso is in a neighborhood location, on a major street, Bancroft. Very nice, spacious interior. Open kitchen is bustling at lunch hours. The menu is California continental, with a variety of choices of nicely presented salads and entrees. Service is pleasant and proficient. Moderate pricing on food and wines. Parking lot is small, but there is street parking as well.... More

We had a family dinner at Paradiso that included my 93 year old Mom. The service was prompt and helpful and displayed great sense of humor. The drinks were terrific as was the food. Will go back next time I come back to California.

We had birthday brunch there this past Sunday and we made reservations and the food was good and atmosphere fantastic! There was no problem getting a table and we didn't have to wait longer than 5 minutes. We ordered the chicken panini, seafood louie, salmon benedict, florentine benedict (with spinach), and chicken enchilada.

This is one of the fanciest restaurants in San Leandro, and I've been here about 10 times over the last 15 years. The food is always good, but never exceptional. Unfortunately, for the prices they charge, I expect more. You won't have a bad meal here, and the service is good, but you won't be wowed.

This place is nice, the nicest restaurant I have been to in San Leandro. I would not say it is my favorite place to go, but if you are looking for good eats in San Leandro. I had no compliants. The wait staff was friendly and helpful and food was good. They had a nice wine selection. I had a... More

Have been several times over the years for lunch and dinner due to overall quality and proximity. Has large open dining area with open kitchen and a couple of extra rooms for overflow or groups. Food quality is usually good with exception of steaks twice now. Once my son and I both had rib eyes which, while cooked satisfactorily, were... More
