Love this place!

Non pretentious winebar with great customer service! Wine was great and reasonably priced, they have a great variety of appetizers that are delicious, and they have a nice outdoor patio area. Glad to have a place like this nearby

Location: Right next to The Englander pub and yes there is a parking lot which they share but also there is street parking all over the place due to the surrounding areas which consist of two banks one being Chase and I totally forgot the other bank directly across from it and yet another bank on the other corner which... We were enticed by a flyer which offered 25% off. When we got there, because it was Father's day, no discount. Wine selection less than expected and the wine we did choose was good but pricey. Tapas dishes again, good and freshly prepared. Overall, there are better deals with more alternatives. Probably would not return.

This place is great in the summer when the patio is open and they seem to have a new crop of friendly wait staff. Last time I sat inside in the winter for just wine and tapas, I was pretty disgusted with the treatment I received as a solo customer at the bar. The food is generally good, but not... More

My friend and I used to like running down to the Vine Wine and Tapas for their Ahi Tuna tower that included avocado, mango, and great, light chips. We also enjoyed their very generous potato dish. We stopped by a couple of months ago and their menu had changed. Instead of the Ahi Tuna tower, they had a seared Ahi... More

Stopped for a glass of wine and some food before a family gathering. Nice atmosphere and cute little patio. The staff was really friendly and the service was good. We enjoyed a nice glass of Caymus wine for half price since it was happy hour. The empanadas were delicious. We shared 3 plates and it was the perfect amount of... More

My friend and I went here last week and we had a great meal and we loved the quaint atmosphere. The calamari with a spicy dipping sauce (yummmmmy) and hummus was delicious. We then had the crab cakes and scallops which were cooked perfectly. We decided to have dessert............. and we were again impressed. I had the espresso lava sundae... More

The tapas here was some of the best i've had. I had the Filet Mignon which was so juicy. The Dates wrapped in bacon were so sweet and savory. The prices were great and were even better the second time around when i went during happy hour. A must try place.

My husband and I have eaten at The Vine Wine and Tapas twice and both times were very enjoyable. We love sharing the small, beautifully presented, and very tasty plates. The service was great both times we visited. A great place to relax with a glass of wine and great food. I'm so glad this restaurant is in San Leandro!
