There are several great places to sit in this restaurant. They have an outdoor section with umbrellas, but the last tow times we ate indoors - once at a window next to the train tracks (great view of the trains as they pass) and this time in a small room with only four tables and many nice local paintings on... You can't beat the location of Sarducci's - right in the former train depot and in walking distance of the Mission and Los Rios District. That being said, the food is always average - not bad but not really anything to write home about. I've eaten here many times as a resident of San Juan but I never expect much... More

You can be seated inside as well. They have umbrellas outside over the tables to keep the sun off. It's a quaint historic San Juan Capistrano setting. Parking structure nearby. Monty Cristo is the best I've had. Shrimp/crab appetisor equally good. Salads are huge and creative. You can't beat the service and setting. It's our "must go to place" when... More

First, you can't beat the location in the old Capistrano Train Depot building. On top of that you get great food and service. Their flatbread appitizer is fabulous with a nice glass of wine. Then top that off with the great "Naked Fillet" with several choices of sause. The service staff is great from Dana who served as the manager... More

We stopped here for a quick lunch while visiting the Mission. Service was quick and friendly and the sandwiches were perfectly good. Nice atmosphere sitting outside and watching the occasional train roll in. Inside areas looked attractive as well.

We love sitting out on the patio next to the train station. It's very quaint. Food is ok, but the atmosphere makes up for it.

Eat outside by the fountain or inside by the fireplace....either way you will feel the ambiance of this beautiful historic site in the middle of San Juan Capistrano. Designated as an historic building, Sarducci's occupies the old train depot that has served this community for over 100 years. The train will pass by several times as you dine...not bothersome, just... More

We had visited the mission and explored the historic part of town. Sweet pomegranate margarita, followed by melt in your mouth short rib dinner. It was a cool evening but we sat outside to enjoy the atmosphere and were kept warm by the propane heaters. The service was good and our propane heater was quickly replaced when it ran short... More

I was looking for a place to get a late breakfast in the historic area. Sarducci's Capistrano Depot was pleasant find. I ordered the Eggs Alaska with a tomato slice, poached egg, topped with hollandaise sauce and crab meat. Their version of home fries were served on the side. I was seated outside on a nice patio area with a... More

The setting for this restaurant is wonderful. It's right in the middle of a historic little town in a beautiful part of Southern California. I've driven by it on the freeway many times but never realized what I was missing. We stopped to see the old mission but hung around to explore. The service was very good. They asked many... More
