Lynn and I visited San Juan Capistrano and after touring the Mission we wanted a quick snack and a beverage. We decided to try Ciao Pasta which was right across the street from the attraction. We had a soda and an iced tea and shared a heaping order of calamari. The appetizer was among the best that we have ever... More

Ate outside under the umbrellas. A bit too hot for my liking. The food was fresh and delicious! I asked for Italian and that is what is got. I'd got back when the weather is cooler.

When we go to San Diego we always stop here for a meal. We took our grandson there for lunch and he loved it too. He was starving, as all little boys are, and the waiter found out what he wanted and brought it to him while we made our decisions. It is always nice to have that special attention... More

This place was recommended by some folks at Mission San Juan Capistrano. We had a very nice lunch here today. It was a limited experience because we both had the walnut, pear and gorgonzola salad with chicken added. A very nice choice. I'd love to go back and try the dinner menu. They served focaccia with olive oil with a... More

Their food is good Italian food but nothing incredible. The patio is very nice and has a great view of the Mission across the street. Mostly we order their food for offsite events and it's great for feeding lots of people. The food is really good just not high end cuisine.

The Owner is always there and the staff very nice and the pasta is made daily . Great out door sitting and live music. It's a must when you visit San Juan Capistrano .

After you have worked up an appetite walking around the grounds of the Mission San Juan Capistrano, go across the street for dinner at this superb restaurant. Mary (wife) and I celebrated my 76th birthday here on April 25th. I ordered the Halibut Mediterraneo. Terrific! Probably the best fish I've ever had ... although I'm 76 and don't remember too... Enjoyed our meal on the outdoor patio, and staff were quick to turn on the heater and place it so that we were perfectly comfortable. I enjoyed an appetizer of shrimp wrapped with prosciutto served with mesclun. My partner's veal piccata was delicious. Really friendly service. I told the waiter I was looking for something light, and I loved his... More

I'd never been here before 2 months ago and now we have been 3 times. Not amazing but very good. The value is nice. Big patio and big indoor area. The owner is always on the floor and visible which is a good sign.
