Great lunch with German and Austrian selections. My Beef Stroganoff was delicious with perfect seasonings and sour cream. My friend's Spaetzel was right on. The chocolate cake dessert was scrumptious, which rounded out a delightful meal. We recently hosted my mother-in-laws 80th birthday party at Café Mozart for 40 people. Hans and Carla were wonderful to work with and made sure everything was perfect for our guests and Mom...The wait staff were amazing and so very accommodating! To a person everyone enjoyed their meal immensely! We had cocktails out in the courtyard first and then moved... More

We had lunch today on the patio of Cafe Mozart, the interior was lovely and great for a romantic dinner, but today was a picture perfect southern California day. Two of us had the duck salad and it was delicious. The Duck breast was cooked perfectly, a little red in the middle, warm and juicy on a salad of greens,... More

Just south of the mission in San Juan Capistrano, you will find Cafe Mozart. I think it is a husband & wife team that put this together. The salmon w/ lobster sauce, scalloped potatos was wonderful. My only complaint was the rather small portions. Desserts perfect.

We had a nice, low-key lunch on the patio prior to a visit to the Mission. Service was good and sandwich and salad were tasty. The patio is a courtyard and you are well shaded from the sun.

If you would like to have a perfectly quiet, wonderfully civilized yet casual, and absolutely delicious meal, visit Café Mozart. Owner/Chef, Hans is an authentic Austrian whose food is so great, you will think you are in Europe. Everything he makes is homemade. The soups are always tasty, beyond tasty really. And the entrees are wonderful. Although I have not... More

Love the food. I have brought people over with different tastes and they have all found excellent food that worked for them.

This place has been around for a long time, but still has a consistent clientele who swear by the quality of the food. I was there for lunch recently and was encouraged to try their daily quiche which was veggie that day...it was excellent and not watery like some veggie quiches I have ordered. Our waiter was engaging and attentive... More

Can't go wrong here. Good food. Great service. Live piano music. Wonderful atmosphere. Fountain just outside. Covered patio. When you want to take your guests to a "nice restaurant," this is the place.

Cafe Mozart has been around for a while and is justly popular with locals. Standard European-style menu of well-prepared meat/fish dishes with moderate prices--cheaper at lunch. Not much on offer for vegetarians, but enough to feed one, especially at lunch. The nicely decorated restaurant is located in a shady, alcoved shopping plaza and has outdoor seating. Closed Mondays.
