Perfect Lunch outdoors!

Just south of the mission in San Juan Capistrano, you will find Cafe Mozart. I think it is a husband & wife team that put this together. The salmon w/ lobster sauce, scalloped potatos was wonderful. My only complaint was the rather small portions. Desserts perfect.

We had a nice, low-key lunch on the patio prior to a visit to the Mission. Service was good and sandwich and salad were tasty. The patio is a courtyard and you are well shaded from the sun.

If you would like to have a perfectly quiet, wonderfully civilized yet casual, and absolutely delicious meal, visit Café Mozart. Owner/Chef, Hans is an authentic Austrian whose food is so great, you will think you are in Europe. Everything he makes is homemade. The soups are always tasty, beyond tasty really. And the entrees are wonderful. Although I have not... More

Love the food. I have brought people over with different tastes and they have all found excellent food that worked for them.

This place has been around for a long time, but still has a consistent clientele who swear by the quality of the food. I was there for lunch recently and was encouraged to try their daily quiche which was veggie that day...it was excellent and not watery like some veggie quiches I have ordered. Our waiter was engaging and attentive... More

Can't go wrong here. Good food. Great service. Live piano music. Wonderful atmosphere. Fountain just outside. Covered patio. When you want to take your guests to a "nice restaurant," this is the place.

Cafe Mozart has been around for a while and is justly popular with locals. Standard European-style menu of well-prepared meat/fish dishes with moderate prices--cheaper at lunch. Not much on offer for vegetarians, but enough to feed one, especially at lunch. The nicely decorated restaurant is located in a shady, alcoved shopping plaza and has outdoor seating. Closed Mondays.

Having been stationed in Germany for ten years, my family is well versed in German/Austrian cuisine. We found Cafe Mozart some years ago and became friends with Hans and Carla, both Masters of their Crafts. I recommended the Cafe to my Southern CA Fraternity Brothers and we hold our Luncheon Meetings there. Hans and Carla are wonderful Hosts and it... More

The food is to die for! Service is great too! This is the perfect place for people interested in great food and familial feels! It's pricey and semi-fancy but it was wonderful! the service people always know our names and what we want and make a strong effort--though I think there are only 2 people serving. The food though, is... More
