Fish tacos!!!

Now coming from Britain it is difficult to find a good Mexican restaurant in the tiny town I live in.. So spending four months in SJC made me fall in love with this amazing Mexican. Not before had I tried the fish tacos, and my gosh they are good. Soft shelled, mouth watering. Amazing. The... read more

Golondrinas are these cute birds that go chirp chirp, nice little birds, but Las Golondrinas Mexican Food are out to get the palate less lemmings that crowd their counters without fail. Why so harsh, you may ask? I will explain: Went there for Taco Tuesday at the suggestion of a very bad advice from a member of our family. Mentions... More

Not pleased. Not a restaurant. Not a good location, no sign. Business district. Didn't eat due to was looking for restaurant atmosphere. Take out only place. Reminds me of roach coach without wheels. Food might be good but wast what I expected to find.

It's a tiny local Mexican restaurant with only three dirty tables outside. It is HIGHLY recommended to take your order to go and remember that it's a bit pricey here. The chips is certainly not fresh, but the salsa is good. Also, if you're going to order something and expect a salsa, then you better pay up! They charge you... More

When we moved from this area this was the place we missed the most. Great Mexican food at great prices from a very small store front.

I've liked this place for years because of the good, basic stuff available to take home--burritos, tacos, enchiladas, guac and chips, etc. Has an assortment of Mexican soft drinks and beer. There are plenty of other Mexican food emporiums in the area, but Las Golondrinas is a habit that is hard to shake, once you find the place in its... More

Unless you are from the area, Las Golondrinas is super hard to find; tucked away in a business park, that looks like multiple apartment buildings. Certainly not even close to great Mexican food. Not the worst either. Biggest complaint is the prices do not match the quality of the food. I'm not a fan of finely chopped steak or carne... More

Steak taco was great! Love fresh salas and guacamole they make. But Taqitos was worst than bad. Greasy and oil tasted old. Outside sitting is filthy. Highly recommend take out only.

Glad there's one within a couple of miles of my house because there are times that I absolutely crave Las Golondrinas. Having gone to college in Santa Barbara, I have to say Freebirds makes burritos better than LG (for me, it's the sauce), but LG makes good ones, too. I also love the chicken or beef quesadillas. Messy, and your... More

Fresh, tasty, cheap, friendly! Take-out food California style. Try the Super Veggie burrito (it's enormous), the chicken taquitos (with guacamole of course). A South Orange County staple for decades.
