Ruby's is a great place for kids - and their Sky Ranch patio is a really nice addition with unique food for the Ruby's brand. We love the veggie burger options - the GoFit burger is amazing - and the food is consistently good across the board. Service is always excellent.

I've been to many Ruby's and this is my favorite. The reason being is the location. If you sit outside in the Sky lounge, you have a view of the Mission. They have outside heaters and a bar too. The food is good and I love their shakes.

Worth waiting to be seated. Great burgers and great hospitality & service. As we were seated at the bar we could see what was going on at the kitchen, it was spotless. All the personnel was super efficient with their continuous warm smiles... Everything we had was delicious! Thank you!

We had a good experience at this Ruby's. Parking was easy to find considering the streets were so busy. We were seated fairly quickly and the servers were very friendly. They serve diner type food but offer vegetarian dishes (veggie burgers, etc) as well. It's a fun setting and our girls really enjoyed the food and the entertainment they offered... More

The Ruby's chain has a winning formula. The recreation of a 40's/50's diner is just perfect. This one appeals especially to the little boy in all of us with it's train theme with G scale trains running around the ceiling and a large scale engine on a revolving platform. But it does not stop there. There is an open air... More

So, you want a burger and you're at least young at heart, and you just happen to be in San Juan Capistrano around lunchtime. Where to eat? Ruby's is the place! My friends and I sat outside. There were large tables filled with children of all ages…oh, and their parents, too. Their menu was varied, my burger was perfectly cooked,... More

My wife and I are avid burger and malt fanatics. Ruby's certainly fit the bill. If you have small children then inside, where the trains run around the ceiling, will probably appeal to them as much as the food.

I go there often with my family, and the service is always very good. My kids love the milkshakes, I love their french fries, and the cheeseburger with onions and mushrooms, The clam chowder is delicious . The location is really nice, the patio has a nice view of the street down there, Camino Capistrano, where you can see The... More

Food is average. It is franchise Restaurant. We had Birthday party to last day soccer party. Has train display going thru inside. Fun place for kids but does not have special area for big party and its upstairs not good for handicap or elder. Near by historic San Juan Mission.

We stopped at Ruby's for breakfast on our way to San Diego. The dining area is very clean and takes you back to the fifties era. There is a train track that runs around the perimeter of the restaurant and is fun to watch the different trains that run along it. Our breakfast was good but the kitchen made a... More
