Ramos House is both an experience and a treat for the taste buds.

Ramos House is both an experience and a treat for the taste buds. Come here for a date, for a birthday party, reunion, or just girls' brunch out (I guess guys can do brunch too... do they?) The $40 price tag for its brunch menu is not for the faint of heart. It includes a small plate, large... read more

The food is good & the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is perfect for Los Rios street. If you visit San Juan Capistrano you have to try Ramos House Café.

Went there for a Sunday brunch. Food, service and atmosphere were great. Overwhelmingly female clientele and wait staff, but a fun, comfortable place for everyone. The apple cinnamon beignets are a must

We have always visited this restaurant for brunch , they do not take reservation expect long lines. We try to always get there early right when they Open, best chance to get in without waiting in line. The food is great and the place isCharming, it is an old cottage right next to train station. They give you blankets since... More

I get hungry thinking about this restaurant! My mocha coffee had torched marshmallows on top which made it the best coffee ever! Then I had the apple beignets with a delicious sauce, then the smoked bacon scramble....WOW! I love to cook and I was so excited that they had a recipe book for sale. I snatched up a few for... My wife and I had breakfast here on a rather chili morning. We ask if we could sit inside and were told no by the rather snooty hostess. She was the only rude person we met here. We each had the bacon scramble and enjoyed it. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Our coffee and biscuits were tasty and... More

Sometimes you remember and romanticize a place based on a specific memory. Our family has been going to Ramos House for the last decade and always remember it for its very special baked goods. We like the restaurant's historic, rustic quality in the Los Rios District, and always try to visit when we're in town. We were so happy to... More

This is a very unique place to have breakfast or lunch. The decor is rustic/quaint and all the seating is outside. They have heaters, if it's cold, and little lap blankets, too! It is right behind the San Juan Capistrano Depot, so trains pass by fairly often (about once an hour), which is always fun to me (they're all passenger... More

Locally sourced menu, free range chicken/eggs, grass fed meats...all in a beautiful patio setting. I ordered the bacon skillet - comes with yummy biscuit and house made spicy ketchup. So good! My husband had huevos rancheros which were equally good. Only steps from the Amtak Pacific Surfliner station. Yum!

We were a bit disappointed in our breakfast. The homemade hash was a small portion and bit on the dry side. The eggs were OK, but nothing special. There is not a lot of bang for the buck here as it is pricey. Nice location in Los Rios district but you get better value right up the street at the... More
