We were excited to be back after a long absence to this cozy and busy -- even on a Tuesday night -- Willow Glen neighborhood bistro. Service and food were good to very good. Nothing extraordinary about either, but better than average. Prices are a bit high, though I am sure rents are steep in this upscale San Jose neighborhood.... More

Excellent dinner all around. The food was terrific (duck and mushroom pasta dish, especially). The staff were a lot of fun and the whole atmosphere was spot on. I recommend Siena Bistro for a nice night out, good food but not too stuffy a restaurant.

Usually able to get a seat at last minute we find this place very cozy and with very good service. We like the variation they offer but seem to stick with our usual dishes. We start with their very garlicy Bruschetta $8 - yum, then I get the Seared Scallop salad in parmesan crust $18 (they cut back on how... More

We waited forever for our food. We were told because they had a party of 14. How about an appetizer or a free drink for waiting? We sat outside and food was great

Went for the first time with our "dinner group". The arrangement was made by a Willow Glenite (if there is such a thing) who had been there many times. My first reaction when I saw the menu and prices was that it seemed costly for pasta. I chose the cheesy bread (appetizer) and prawn appetizer. The prawns (5 "medium" size)... More

Went with friends who always wanted to take us there. Nice little place in Willow Glen area. Didn't disappoint. Mediterranean based menu. Started with the cheesy garlic bread - to die for. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. I had the Angry Pasta with spicy Italian sausage and tomato sauce. Good medium heat dish - not for anyone who doesn't like spicy... More

My wife and I like to go to Siena Bistro. The staff is friendly and the food super delicious. My favorite is the 'Devil' pasta and the Bread pudding caramel for desert.

The Siena Bistro is a nice little restaurant in San Jose. It is Italian/American rather than French in my view. Parking can be difficult, as the lot outside the restaurant can get busy. The patio is nice for lunch but no view as it is surrounded by a fence screening the public car park. Nice mixture of salads, burgers and... More

This quaint little restaurant has friendly service and perfect little wine bar. But the food will take you to another world. This by far is the best hidden secret we have found in the bay area. I love the spaghetti, angry pasta, raviollis, meat loaf, garlic bread, complimentary bread and olives..you get it. Now go try this place and don't... More

While this restaurant has been around for a long time, it is still one of Willow Glen's best kept secrets. The food is great but what makes this restaurant special is the owner and staff. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and special. They even brought me a blanket to wrap around me when I... More
