Went for the first time with our "dinner group". The arrangement was made by a Willow Glenite (if there is such a thing) who had been there many times. My first reaction when I saw the menu and prices was that it seemed costly for pasta. I chose the cheesy bread (appetizer) and prawn appetizer. The prawns (5 "medium" size)... More

Went with friends who always wanted to take us there. Nice little place in Willow Glen area. Didn't disappoint. Mediterranean based menu. Started with the cheesy garlic bread - to die for. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. I had the Angry Pasta with spicy Italian sausage and tomato sauce. Good medium heat dish - not for anyone who doesn't like spicy... More

My wife and I like to go to Siena Bistro. The staff is friendly and the food super delicious. My favorite is the 'Devil' pasta and the Bread pudding caramel for desert.

The Siena Bistro is a nice little restaurant in San Jose. It is Italian/American rather than French in my view. Parking can be difficult, as the lot outside the restaurant can get busy. The patio is nice for lunch but no view as it is surrounded by a fence screening the public car park. Nice mixture of salads, burgers and... More

This quaint little restaurant has friendly service and perfect little wine bar. But the food will take you to another world. This by far is the best hidden secret we have found in the bay area. I love the spaghetti, angry pasta, raviollis, meat loaf, garlic bread, complimentary bread and olives..you get it. Now go try this place and don't... More

While this restaurant has been around for a long time, it is still one of Willow Glen's best kept secrets. The food is great but what makes this restaurant special is the owner and staff. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and special. They even brought me a blanket to wrap around me when I... More

A friend and I had lunch at the Siena Bistro and had a delicious meal with absolutely attentive waitstaff (since there was a large group on the patio and our waiter made sure our order got into the kitchen before the group ordered). Our meals were superb and I especially enjoyed the creative nature of the scallop salad which came... More

We have been to Siena Bistro several times now and although I am hooked on their Pasta Arrabiata, I get to go back because me wife consistently finds an excellent special. The Pasta Arrabiata is penne noodles in an "angry" sauce (Arrabiata=Angry) with enough sausage and mushrooms to make it a full meal. It's wonderfully spicy and you can get... More

Pros: Great food. Friendly service. Nice neighborhood vibe. Cons: Tables are stacked together like seating 6 people in a 4 passenger car. Suggestion: Try the patio. If you're inside, go with a group of 4 or 6 and sit away from the front door. Star Ratings: - Overall: 5 - Food Quality: 5 - Food Quantity: 5 - Dining Room... More

Great food, great service, cute little bistro with patio seating. Always consistent. Lot's to choose from on the menu. Great wine selection and desserts too!
