Peet's Santana Row

Good coffee, well staffed, limited seating. Excellent location for Santana Row shops and dining. Parking usually not a problem.

Prior to going to the movies at Santana Row, I walked across the street and enjoyed a green tea ice tea. There is seating both inside and on the patio area. Service was quick and friendly.

Before the movie, we stopped in the pick up tweets....brownies, cookies. A little dry but it was in the evening so they were probably 12 hrs old. Still better than an overpriced candy bar at the theater!

Live on the Row and tried making this my regular coffee spot. I guess they don't really care about who comes in and their unpleasantness and unfriendliness towards customers clearly shows. You wish them good morning and they look at you with a blank and the most ridiculed face. I went their a few times and then stopped going ,... More

Peet's on The Alameda is my preference to any Starbuck's, I just prefer their taste. Parking is adequate. I send Peet's to my godson in Hawaii, the chain isn't there yet. Manager at this branch was most understanding when I returned a Christmas gift. It appeared to have been opened, I understand the policy and the person helping me was... More

Okay, I have to first prefix this with the statement that my wife and I prefer a stronger and richer cup of coffee. Although it may be a darker roast than down the street, it just tastes like a richer blend. I really like Peet's as a meeting place because it seems to have a lot fewer people who have... More

Scorched coffee. Not happy they bought Caribou. Had to deal with a barista that was quite full of himself. In South Korea one of the jobs they train Northern defectors for baristas because it calls for no skills or personality.

It's just a coffee shop, right? But at least it could be kept clean, both inside and outside, and make an effort to have some level of hospitality felt once you're there. Always give it a try, but going back to Starbucks for consistency...

Peets coffee is really good. Not as huge as the Starbucks chain but I like their coffee much better. There are Peet's all over San Jose and the bay area in general.
