I've tried many other pho restaurants and even tried to make the pho broth but nothing compares to how good Pho Kim Long's broth tastes. It's very satisfying, especially on a cold day.
i was introduced by a friend from the area about the place.
The setting is very simple, but the Pho (menu item 3) and the Summer roll was so good.
I could taste the asia-ness in the food there. I like the very generous serving bean sprout and mint that comes with the Pho.

This restaurant has the best Vietnamese chicken noodle soup (pho ga) in the Bay Area, bar none. But for the nettlesome cash-only policy, we would give it five stars.
This place is extremely popular. Lots of customers. Pho was so so. You do not have time to peruse the menu. As soon as you sit down, they will ask what you want, ready or not. As in most Vietnamese places they only take cash. Service is non-existent in this place. Find another pho place.

I don't get why this place is always crowded. Their Pho is not bad, but the rest of their stuff are only so-so. In terms of cleanliness and service, I would say this is on par with most Pho places, so don't expect too much. I can see that they have ox penis on their menu (no kidding)....could be interesting...

Good pho. But my favorite is Pho Ga - free-ranch chicken pho with everything. Just not the same elsewhere.
Best chicken noodle soup in the city - if you love chicken breast, no skin, no bones.
