Italian Jewel Tucked Away on Skyport Drive

While awaiting a delayed flight out of SJ I took some close friends out for dinner. They suggested Vito's Trattoria. What a pleasant surprise! We came here on a recommendation from the Marriott, and were delighted. The veal parmigiana was excellent, had a very nice menu, the decor is lovely. We met the owner and he made the effort to check and make sure our meals were good. He was incredibly nice! Try the chocolate mousse dessert - delicious! We dined on a Saturday... More

The Sea Bass special and Vodka alla Pollo are both great. The lasagna is average. The service is outstanding!

We have stopped here many times when we had a flight into the airport, and it was dinner time. Parking is plentiful after business hours when the nearby office buildings are empty. We have never had a problem walking in and getting seated. Atmosphere is nice and casual. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Menu choices are plentiful with most... More

Liked everything. There is nothing to dislike. Good Italian food, good wine, good service. Small and intimate not too fancy but linen napkins....love it.

Ravioli was cold when I got it, the staff was friendly and helpful. I could have ate the ravioli out of a can for what I got. The sauce tasted canned, nothing tasted homemade to me.

A hidden gem in Silicon Valley. Good food (although nothing you won't have seen before), and great service. The owner personally visits with customers - takes a very special interest in your experience. Clearly worth seeking this gem out.

I saw the place as I drove from SJC to my hotel. As I drove by I noticed it was packed full. I went back and ordered take out with a bottle of wine and it was very good. Service appeared to be excellent as well.

Was recommended as near our hotel and we thought it would be great on a Saturday evening for dinner. Arrived and was told they are closing the kitchen. I guess this is better for lunch than a dinner. Unusual for a restaurant in a major city to close early on Saturday.
