Great vegetarian platter, everything tasted really good and different. The service can be better, but it can be completely overlooked given the food.

I loved our meal at Zeni. The vegetarian platter, at $14, was delicious with lots of interesting and delicate spices and generous in size. The lamb stew was great, too. Our house wines were only about $6.50, I think; the wine portion was smaller than usual, but it was good and compared in price to other restaurants if you take... More

Good veg options and quite a portion! Loved the greens. Honey wine reminded me of the Weihnachtsmarkt experience. You need to make reservations before you are there.

Great Ethiopian food. Many vegetarian & vegan options. Nice service. Can seat & eat Ethiopian style with a shared platter. We always get the spicy beans. I also like the collard greens. Service is nice - its an all female crew.

good portion of well cooked food served in a traditional style, on a large spongy bread. Service can be a little slow but be patient. Its worth the little wait. Prices are great.

The food here is consistently excellent. This is a restaurant I try to visit every time I am in the area and have never been disappointed. If you want dinner and don't want to wait, I suggest getting there by six. We got there tonight at 6:30 and had a 45 minute wait. The place is small and in a... More

Zeni is by far the yummiest and freshest and tastiest Ethiopian fod with ample options for Vegetarians. The only reason for 4 star is their service can be much improved. Its a smallish place in a pretty non descript strip mall, but its worth it to come all the way here to try their food. I am a vegetarian, so... More

The coffee service here is an amazing experience. Make a reservation for this some afternoon. They roast the coffee at the tableside, then grind the aromatic beans before serving excellent coffee. The fragrance of the roasting beans is "to die for"!

We went to Zeni based solely on the reviews we read on tripadvisor.com. The reviews accurately portrayed the experience. Had to wait about thirty minutes to get in, it was crowded and the food was fabulous. For those who have not had Ethiopian food before, it is spicy hot. Expect the experience to take some time so plan to linger.... More
