Awesome Food

If you haven't tried Ethiopian food till now then it is a best place to start. The food is amazing and rich in flavours. There is a lot of variety on the menu as well. A good place for lunch and dinner.

This was my very 1st time trying Ethiopian food. I was expecting to taste an array of flavors, but my meat was pretty bland. It could very well be because I didn't order a spicy dish. I ordered a lamb dish and my friend ordered beef & we both thought the meat was bland. The salad definitely made the meal.... More

I love their food and the the flavors are very exquisite and very vibrate. The presentation of the food is excellent and I really enjoy sitting in the small room with the baskets. The service was good but when they are very busy, which is often the service tends to be a little slow. I'm also very impressed by how... More

Ethiopian cuisine is very interesting as they have a wide variety of meat and veggie dishes all served on this spongy bread called injera. Pace yourself on the injera as it swells up in your stomach when you drink fluids and you can feel very full very fast. The menu is very extensive and you can't go wrong with whatever... More

If you like international cuisine...........this is a nice place to experience it. The food is really nice ( not too spicy- as I dislike hot / spicy food). Ready to get messy eating with your fingers! It is quite an interesting experience to sit around the table and eat from the same plate breaking of the Ingera? sour bread, roll... More

We had an assortment of all the key veggie offerings (veggie combo plus two more items) which we split three ways. Drank mint tea, honey wine, and St George's beer. Total fun. Superb and very friendly service! Helen couldn't have been more helpful.

A colleague who is Ethiopian recommends this place, and it is one of the best places in the Bay Area for Ethiopian. The service is very friendly. They have traditional seating, with regular tables and chairs. The food is so tasty. If you do not know what to order, ask for an order of the meat and an order of... More

I was at Zeni's Restaurant in October with a few friends and we had a very nice evening. The food was very good, it was very nicely presented, and the best thing is: you can eat with your fingers!

We had a family dinner here late one night (9PM). The service was great but the food was even better. Unique presentation and delicious food eaten with fingers and wrapped in the best bread ever! You cannot leave hungry or disappointed. the prices are very reasonable.
