Very nice lunch spot while visiting Santana Row

My wife and I stopped in for lunch shortly after arriving at Hotel Valencia across the street. Great lunch menu with many nice choices that made it difficult to decide. We were able to sit outside under heaters. We enjoyed a tomato bisque soup, a baked phyllo Brie appetizer, a great salad with... read more

We enjoyed the Village for Sunday brunch at about 10am. Even with a party of 7, we only waited about 10 minutes. Food was excellent, but the service was not up to that level. One of our meals was forgotten and they were slow on drinks. The bruschetta eggs were awesome - it was a smaller entree, but they were... More

Lots of food, quality is OK, the Baileys coffee was perfect. Ordered the croissant breakfast and it was a little sloppy. The country potatoes were very good as the side. The bacon was not well cooked. Good service nice clean place but quality has not been maintained.

I had been here before for lunch or dessert. Try the dinner menu. The night's special-- squash soup with a dash of hot chorizo sauce was inspired. My husband had the filet tips cooked like stew. Really great comfort American food! Did I mention that the service was exquisite? You will not get any attitude at this Santana Row restaurant!... More

We had an excellent experience at the Village California Bistro & Wine Bar for lunch a week ago, so we thought we'd try it for dinner last Saturday evening. What happened?! This experience was not good at all! It's hard to believe it was the same restaurant. We had the Tomato Bruschetta and Calamari for appetizers and we shared the... More

Village California Bistro is located at Santana Row. While Santana Row caters to high end shoppers and provides plenty of people-watching opportunities, Village Bistro can be overlooked. The party goers and the people who 'want to be seen' will migrate to the trendy spots. For those who want a nice dining experience where you can hear each other talk in... More

We went to the Village California for Sunday Brunch with family. Our order was taken promptly and the serving staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered a selection of dishes from the lunch menu all of which were well cooked and presented. Worth mentioning were the Bistro Eggs Benedict using a puff pastry vol au vent (instead of the usual... More

i went with a friend and the place is not cool at all. We had the tempura fish with fries and the tempura had a taste like churro. the only decent thing was the fries. The tablecloth was super dirty and they place paper to cover the table to they dont have to change the cloths. the waitress was being... More

I had dinner there with family of 7. I ordered fried calamari and medium well bistro steak with broccoli n potato. They brought the appetizer n the main course to my table at the same time. My steak is red n breeding which was ordered by another one in my party. No broccoli but sprouts. Three mistakes in one meal.... More
