Oh sweet success! Bill's is always full, the wait on a weekend is easily 30 to 45 minutes. We have been coming to the 2 locations ( I think the 3rd more recent in South San Jose is a run by a cousin ) for years. The food is typically breakfast, with a South-of-the-border influence. Portions are large and food... More

We ate at both the Bill's on Willow, and the one on the Alameda. Both are excellent! I loved that my husband could order breakfast while I ordered lunch. He loved his eggs and sausage; hash browns seemed fresh, a rarity! Bread is fresh and delicious. Coffee is yummy. I had the chopped salad--huge and fresh, with delicious dressing and... More

I had perfectly cooked eggs, bacon and shared pancakes and a waffle. Huge mimosas and quick service.. There are always people waiting but tables open quickly.

While running errands in San Jose, we realized it was 1 pm, time for lunch, but we were visitors driving from Alviso to San Jose. There are lots of little cafes along the road, but we saw Bill's Cafe, and there were still cars and folks sitting at outside table. It was a great choice. They have a soup and... More

This is a local hangout and very popular for breakfast on the weekends. I was taken there for Father''s Day. We got there a little after 7:30 am and were seated within a few minutes. By the time we left at 9 or so, there were at least 100 people outside waiting. The service was very good and our server... More

Bill's is a San Jose tradition. There are 3 locations (if I'm not mistaken) and all of them have very long lines each weekend. You can call ahead to reserve your place in line and as long as you get to the restaurant within the wait time, you should have no problems being seated soon. The mimosas are huge and... More

The place always has long lines on the weekends. I think this is a local favorite. But from food perspective, just ok. I prefer other cafés in the downtown area.

My wife and I tried the newly opened Bill's Café on Kooser after previously eaten at the Bill's Cafe in Willow Glen. We had Easter brunch there. We called 45 minutes ahead and had no trouble being seated right away. The menu and the food is the same at all their locations. My wife had the portobello mushroom benedict and... More

Nice, clean old-school cafe. Inside and patio seating. Friendly, fast service and the eggs Benedict was great.

Wanted a great Sunday breakfast before traveling and Bill's Cafe was the perfect fit. We arrived about 9:30 in the morning and waited about 30 minutes for a table. There was plenty of free coffee in the waiting area, or you could get a drink while waiting. Once seated we were greeted by a helpful and friendly waitress and once... More
