Nice, clean old-school cafe. Inside and patio seating. Friendly, fast service and the eggs Benedict was great.
Wanted a great Sunday breakfast before traveling and Bill's Cafe was the perfect fit. We arrived about 9:30 in the morning and waited about 30 minutes for a table. There was plenty of free coffee in the waiting area, or you could get a drink while waiting. Once seated we were greeted by a helpful and friendly waitress and once... More
Found this place through this site and thought it was worth a try. We were very impressed with the quick service. The food was out of this world. Very tasty and satisfying. Ensure u have a big appetite when u come to Bill's. Price is right as well!! Will definitely visit again.
Bill's is the breakfast spot in San Jose (3 locations, other 2 are off the Alameda & 880 & Naglee & Bascom). All 3 of them have long waits, so be sure to order a mimosa or a bloody mary while your waiting. The servings are large so bring your appetite. Try the eggs benedict. They do also serve lunch... More
We had breakfast at Bill's while visiting family in San Jose. Bill's is one of their favorites, and they can walk to it from their home in Willow Glen, so we were excited to try it. The food was phenomenal. One person in our party ordered the fruit and yogurt - I kinda thought that was silly with all the... More
Very tasty, great variety and some new things too. Get there early or you'll be standing outside for a while waiting for a table. Great service too.
Great for breakfast. There are 4 other locations in the area. All of them are highly rated and seem like local favorites. There's usually a long wait, but you can sip some complimentary coffee while you wait. I had the El Paso Benedict which was really good. Even the side of corned beef hash was very tasty too.
We really enjoy going to Bill's for breakfast. On the weekends there is usually a wait but it is well worth it in our opinion. They have some south of the border items on the menu now which our family like. Gives you some semblance of being in Mexico and dining on the local cuisine. We also enjoy the lunches... More
It is great and heavy breakfast. We had to wait 35min to go inside. The Manu has alot of options for breakfast. I like and it is the best the French toast. The others are great too. The soup lemon/chicken is nice too. The one order is huge for one so ask to reduce to have serveral kinds. The small... More
Breakfast in american way: big plates well filled, assorted eggs, hams, sausages, a protein scramble with aspargus, panncake instead of toast if wanted. The Croissant was not like the French would expect it.. it was fried flat like a french toast - try it!
