I probably shouldn't write a positive review for this spot, cause it's one of my favorite restaurants in San Jose. And if word gets out, the line will just get longer and longer.....so, if you come here please keep it on the "Down Low"....I love this place.

We had dinner here while staying across the street at the Holiday Inn prior to an early flight. It is attached to a larger Japanese restaurant, but has a separate entrance off the the left of the main door. It's a tiny place with just 5 tables and seats at the bar. We ordered several dishes - chicken yakitori, scallop... More

The restaurant was right across from my hotel (Holiday Inn) and is well recommend by both Tripadvisor and Yelp. Although this tripadvisor picture isn’t really inviting. Entrance is a little bit odd as you have an option to enter another restaurant on your right while the entrance to this restaurant is on its left. Place is small with only a... More

This is a small place, it has been around for a while. This is a well known spot for travelers also, since its close to the San Jose Airport. Fish is always fresh and lots of Japanese people eats there also.

Restaurant is small, but they serve excellent food. Service wasn't so bad as well. This restaurant is operated by the Japanese themselves, so I wasn't expecting horrible food. There's a significant amount of parking space nearby, so parking was not an issue. Reasonably priced. If I remember correctly, a beef teriyaki came about ~$10 USD. It was a huge portion.... More

Obviously there are many choices when on the road. Sometimes you just want something local and different and great. This place qualifies on all counts. Looks are not always the best judge. I have now eaten here twice. It was local to the hotel and in walking distance. Each time it appeared tha regular locals were here. While I didn't... More

The food was good, not cheap though, but at least carefully crafted. The sitting is too tight, but if you are after a nice quick meal and out, this fits the bill.

Was looking for a Japanese restaurant. This was right across from the hotel. I've lived in Japan for 8 years so when I walked in I thought I was back in Japan. Very small but they have such a wide array of entree's to choose from. The food was excellent. Service was great. Definitely going back before I leave town.

I had sushi. It was delicious and service was quick and attentive. The place is small but it felt like the sushi restaurants I have seen on tv in Japan (never been :( ). Glad my hotel recommended and I recommend with no reservations.
