I've heard it was the best okonomiyaki restaurant in the bay area so wanted to try it (I had the tako/octopus one). Honestly I haven't found any other ones in the area, but definitely not on top of the list of the best I've ever had. It felt very greasy, like they reused oil to cook it and was oversaturated.... This place is tiny. It could probably sit about 20 people max. Great, authentic izakaya dishes. We had the beef tongue, hamachi kama, some uni sushi, and a ramen. Everything was good.

Visited multiple times in the last years and each time worth a visit. Fair priced sushi and sashimi. The menu card and the daily meals are 80% in Chinese or Japanese and only 20% in English. Very tight seating. Very friendly and quick service, very nice sushi - and it's more about the fish, not about toppings, dressings and wild... More

Definitely liked the service an sushi although the sushi rice was grainy. Average to good quality. Neighborhood is iffy.

I probably shouldn't write a positive review for this spot, cause it's one of my favorite restaurants in San Jose. And if word gets out, the line will just get longer and longer.....so, if you come here please keep it on the "Down Low"....I love this place.

We had dinner here while staying across the street at the Holiday Inn prior to an early flight. It is attached to a larger Japanese restaurant, but has a separate entrance off the the left of the main door. It's a tiny place with just 5 tables and seats at the bar. We ordered several dishes - chicken yakitori, scallop... More

The restaurant was right across from my hotel (Holiday Inn) and is well recommend by both Tripadvisor and Yelp. Although this tripadvisor picture isn’t really inviting. Entrance is a little bit odd as you have an option to enter another restaurant on your right while the entrance to this restaurant is on its left. Place is small with only a... More

This is a small place, it has been around for a while. This is a well known spot for travelers also, since its close to the San Jose Airport. Fish is always fresh and lots of Japanese people eats there also.

Restaurant is small, but they serve excellent food. Service wasn't so bad as well. This restaurant is operated by the Japanese themselves, so I wasn't expecting horrible food. There's a significant amount of parking space nearby, so parking was not an issue. Reasonably priced. If I remember correctly, a beef teriyaki came about ~$10 USD. It was a huge portion.... More
