Another Keeper!

This was a very good place to have lunch. It was a little crowded, and therefore the atmosphere was not as good as it could be. You needed to walk through the kitchen to get to the restroom (which is a little weird). The Thai food was very good, and tasted fresh.

The food was presented in sufficient quantity, but the soup- the lemongrass soup- was totally over-the-top in spicy heat. One expects some heat, but also expects the lemongrass and the coconut milk to balance. This traveler had to throw the entire take-home container away, as it was unpalatable.

I was in the mood for Thai food when in San Jose for a meeting near Thai Orchid. I started with the Tom Yum soup. It was spicy with good flavor but the vegetables in it were overcooked and limp. It also contained vegetables I'm not used to seeing in Tom Yum soup. Then ordered the mixed seafood Pad Thai.... More

I had a business lunch here and the food and service were exemplary. The menu is extensive and there's something for everyone - you can even pick the spiciness of the dishes. Be warned, we got there at 1130 and got a table but by 1200 they were queuing out the door... It really is that good!

I'd vote this place the BEST Thai food ever - and I eat a lot of Thai food. Nice owners, cute place, food you will want to drive 400 miles to, to return for dinner.

This is my favorite restaurant in downtown SJ! Relaxed, intimate, good food. The coconut curries are delicious. Gets busy at lunchtimes, it's so popular, but I never had to wait.

Gracious service with a smile. A good assortment of Thai food that is delicious. I dined there 2 nights in a row! Try the Masuman curry and the Coconut milk soup. The deserts are creative and the one I had was just delicious. Oh, and a great value too!

My colleague and I arrived there at about 6 PM on Tuesday, July 12th. This is a small strip mall restaurant right on the southwest corner of 1st and Trimble. It has a modest number of tables. Several other patrons were there. We were seated right away. The Thai Iced Tea was good, and the beef pad see ew was... More

Some of the best tofu pad see ew I've had. I rate the food higher than Kung Thai, IMHO. Very busy at lunch, you need to get there early.
