Food is great here but expensive, not a 'regular' place that you can go any evening when you feel like eating Italian food. I had the mushroom ravioli it was just superb! Will go back on some 'special day' perhaps :)

Attended a friends birthday dinner here on a busy Saturday night and the food and service here is consistently good. We frequent the Santana Row location which is always busy so if you are going here on a Friday or Saturday MAKE RESERVATIONS. The food is your standard Italian fare with some excellent chopped salads and great pasta dishes. What... More

I went with a large group for a business dinner meeting. The staff took very good care of us and the food was excellent. We were there nearly 3 hours and there was no pressure to leave right after our meals. They told us to take our time and even brought us a free dessert, which was delicious. Will definitely... More

We had the Chef's choice - food was poor (large portions of mediocrity). The service was slow and also poor - waiting 30+ minutes for service. We will not be returning to this location - dare say we would have got much better fare and service in a fast food chain.

Went with my son and his family to celebrate my 80th birthday. They were very accomodating when we had to change our reservation time and we were seated in minutes after our arrival. Our waiter, Warren, was gracious and knowledgeable about all the food selections. Maybe there is no such thing as perfection but our experience in terms of delicious... More

Its my favorite place to eat when I'm at Santana Row. The free range half chicken - my son loved. I had the salmon and a friend had the ravoli was excellent.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this restaurant. It was the worst dining experience I've ever had. We arrived for an 8:15 reservation for a large group following my daughter's graduation ceremony. The table was ready to seat us, but we were SO cramped. The restaurant was very busy and the service was beyond bad. Out of 30 people, 5... More

Stumbled upon this gem after the winchester mystery house hike. Almost went to the Brazilian bbq across the street but the fam voted Italian. Awesome place! I guess it's a chain but we're from Oregon so it was new to us. We were seated promptly, and orders were taken by a gal who was training someone and was a little... More

Maggiano's gives you the feel of a family owned restaurant but it is backed by the strength of a major corporation that provides consistency, training, value and promotions. The food is remarkably Southern Italian with a lot of red sauce and pasta variations. Usually offering some LTO that increases the value like the last time we visited it was an... More

In the center of Santana Row, San Jose, this restaurant is a perfect place to meet for lunch. Extensive Italian menu; I had their Clams with Linguini with their hot fresh bread. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Continued our relaxing visit at their outside patio. Great sevice.
