Awesome location, tasty italian dishes, nice service

This place is consistently delicious and one of the better "chain" type of italian restaurants around. This location in particular is in a charming part of "The Alameda" and is also close to downtown making it all the better to experience some old world San Jose nostalgia. They have beautifully... read more

Kale salad was quite good. Calzone was not served with sauce. Not very good. Service started out fine and then the waitress disappeared. Had to go inside to get someone to give us the check so we could pay to leave.

This place is consistently delicious and one of the better "chain" type of italian restaurants around. This location in particular is in a charming part of "The Alameda" and is also close to downtown making it all the better to experience some old world San Jose nostalgia. They have beautifully preserved the brick interiors and extra 60-70's art deco facade.... More

Came here with friends. It tends to be out "go to" when we go to Santana Row movies. Price is quite reasonable ($10-20) and food is pretty good. I always get the vegetarian pastas, sometimes with cannelloni beans. Focaschia bread is good as you wait but you do t wait long. Will come again when at the movies

Pasta Pomodoro was dow the block from te hotel we were staying at. We ate there the night we got in (late). They were very accommodating and trhe food was reasonably priced and good. We went back a second time because they had a nice variety of classic Italian dishes, reasonably priced and the people there were so nice (and... More

We were on our way to the San Jose Performing Arts and wanted to have a quick bite prior. I have not been there in years, so we decided to stop. The bread and dipping sauce was amazing. I think it actually had chopped green olives in it, very very tasty. We had the Caprese Salad and it was fresh... More

We were staying at a hotel in San Jose. There were no restaurants nearby, so we opted for delivery. We had three choices of pizza, and we chose this place based upon the menu. We were NOT disappointed. On line ordering was so easy. Delivery arrived a few minutes earlier than expected. Delivery charge was $6 I think, so I... More

Mushroom stuffed polenta appetizer was mostly non- gmo ingredients and quite tasty. Wine was good with excellent customer service. Last time I was here 5 years ago the meal and customer service was horrible.

We arrived on a busy night but were seated right away, maybe because we were getting food to go. Ordered the Margarita and Chicken Pesto Pizzas. Yum!

Stopped in on a Monday night to see the special was an all you can eat pasta for $10. Add appetizers and drinks and you still have a deal. Food was very good and the service prompt and friendly.

Welcome was fine, service was very slow!! The wine eventually arrived at the table and was ok! We ordered a starter and a main course and waited, and waited!!! The main course arrived at the table before our starters and so we sent them back to the kitchen and asked for our starters first! They arrived and were delicious!! When... More
