Elegant restaurant.

Located attached to the Fairmont Hotel, this restaurant clearly caters to the elite dining crowd. Service is by team not by individual server. It did take neat 10 minutes to get a menu when I first sat down but after that the service was very attentive and friendly. The prices are quite... read more

I frequently go to The Grill for happy hour and for dinner with family and friends. The food is always delicious and high quality. I eat my meat well done and not too many restaurants get it perfect. The Grill makes my filet mignon well done and juicy at the same time. A side of creamy spinach or broccolini comes... More

Being a vegetarian, it is always an iffy prospect going to a "grill" restaurant, which generally focuses heavily on meat or fish As a vegetarian, your typical option is to pick a couple of side dishes, or eat very mediocre pasta. My husband and I ate at The Grill on the Alley last Saturday (July 4th) and were very pleasantly... More

feel from the wait staff, decor, menu and overall ambiance. The food will not disappoint. Having hosted a couple of larger events here, I can also say that everything is done as one would like if hosting the event yourself. The prices are accordingly high, but go along with the overall quality of the event, meal, cocktail.

I spend a lot of time eating at the Grill. Food is always good, service is very good and the décor is warm and gives you the feeling of the 1940's.

We sometimes go to Grill on the Alley for dinner. The wait staff and the servers are very friendly and kind to us. The wait staff always give us good tables. The room was dimly lit, and the lights on the table were very bright, but that didn't matter that much to me. They serve us bread to eat when... More

Lovely tasty warm bread with 3 options of butter , oil & tomato to start. We both had the scallops as an starter they were delicious & succulent. Next was the steak a filet mignion cooked to perfection & just absolutely delicious. It was to die for. Sides of creamed spinach & mashed potato complimented the steak well. Wine by... More

This is a big busy place, but good. Over the years I find I always end up here for one meal at least when in town and it never disappoints. I have tried a few things on the menu, but to be honest the star of the show has been the steak. Simply prepared and beautifully cooked. Service has always... More

I took a group of 7 cooks as a training experience to see first hand presentation, service, seasoning, menu development, etc. I even let the Host know what the purpose of our visit was. We were seated in the busiest table in the restaurant and possibly the noisiest.. It took 1 hour for our appetizers to arrive and another 1.5... More
