love that place for best food.and friendly staff and good location.i find one of the best place to enjoy
The food was great, however the service was so poor they forgot part of our meal and tried to make up for it, but then just kept coming up short. Too high priced for the terrible service.
Too expensive for what you get, snobby, indifferent service and just not worth the money. Servers kept walking past us, not even glancing our way or offering service. We had to signal that we were ready to order. You would think we'd walked in with our flip flops and shorts.
Came here on New Year's Eve. The place was not too busy but the kitchen was slow. The food its self was pretty good, not the best I've had but good. I'm not sure that it's worth the cost however. We were a party of 3, got 3 filet mignon 12oz orders, 3 sides, a lobster bisque soup, garlic bread... More
This place is awesome for getting drinks in a classic downtown bar setting, while rubbing shoulders with locals and tourists. The food here is great too and has great presentation and decor. The price (as you would expect) is a bit pricey but if its for a special occasion, its well worth it.
Great ambiance and very good food. The service is excellent. The restaurant has very good seafood dishes and the menu has a variety of dishes outside of what you expect from the mostly steak house. Those dishes are quite tasty and are not just an afterthought.
San Csrlo, The Rice Bowl, Grill on the Alley, happened to be the mainstays of Manchester Dining for the last five years. San Carlo and The Rice Bowl are still there but OHMIGOD the Grill has plummeted. Dreadful steaks and dreadful service when it was busy, but not excessively busy. The mussels were excellent. Sack somebody right now and regain... More
Folks, the bone in Fillet is back at the Grill in San Jose. I rank it best fillet of on the non Kobi beef or Kobi mix category. This includes Alexanders when they have it, Phoebes Mills, and Spencer. Order it towards the rare side however, they usually cook it to the more done side to my liking. Service are... More
Nothing special but also very well done, exactly what you'd expect from a Fairmont hotel steakhouse. Food was fine (wedge salad was awesome!), drinks were good, atmosphere was exactly what you want from a steakhouse.
I had a business dinner mid-week at Grill on the Alley. Great appetizers! I had the Chilean Sea bass which was delicious. We ordered several side dishes and they were all very good; my favorite was the brussel sprouts. I don't really drink but the rest of the team enjoyed the wine; they have a good selection. Our waiter was... More
