BJ needs to visit Chicago

Maybe I had my expectations too high. Maybe it is too much to expect that a restaurant in California knows how to make a Chicago style deep dish pizza. But when I see a menu item that says Chicago Style Deep Dish, I expect it to be true; unfortunately, it wasn't. BJ's idea of a Chicago style pizza... read more

Started well with friendly service and the waitress, Tash, was good. Then it went downhill. Ordered medium sirloin with roasted sprouts and horseradish mash. Meat arrived cremated and the sprouts were awful. Spoke to waitress who discussed with the kitchen. Apparently this is the recipe they use! Suggest they change it very quickly!!! Overall not impressed and will in future... More

No, really. BJ's has a drink called a "drink like that" that you have to try if you haven't. That, plus great food and good service makes this a top tier restaurant. The menu is well priced for the kind of restaurant this and for the amount of quality of food they serve.

This is a review of the BJ's at the marketplace shopping center off of Coleman. The place was busy but we avoided the 15 min wait by grabbing a table in the bar. Our server Frank gave us prompt service, even asking when the game started so we weren't late for opening face off. We had the poke for appetizer,... More

BJs serves some of the best beers in the bay area. They have multiple outlets across the valley and all of them serve some great drinks and delicious food. Their menu pairs food items with a recommended beer, making the experience even more wholesome. Try their pizza, it is really good!

Healthy, well presented menu. Nice enough atmosphere. The food was good. The service was really slow - five people tended to our table and it seemed as though they were doing so begrudgingly or as an afterthought. Order, took forever. Food served in phases. No plates. Took forever for drink refills. Had to ask for the check at least twice.... More

Very slow service. Ordered app as soon as seated. 5 boneless buffalo wings brought instead of 10. Mngmt came over. Sent back for the regular 10 as they overcharge to begin with. Meal arrived, but no return of appetizer yet. Dug fork into my mashed potatoes and pulled up a long string of mucosa in them. Broccoli was old, like... More

I went to the Oakridge Mall location for lunch with an old work buddy that I had not seen for over ten years. I recommended BJ's as they have good reasonably priced food and will not make you feel rushed if you linger over lunch. I had the classic burger and wedge cut fries. My friend had the turkey sandwich... More

We are in San Jose visiting, and eat at BJ's consistently in our hometown. This happened to be my husband's birthday. Worst experience at this chain we have ever had, despite loving it back home. The pizza here was definitely the worst I've ever had at a BJ's and maybe the worst in my life. The "hand tossed" was crispy... More

Eaten at other locations before, BJ's has an incredible selection of menu choices. If you eat inside, prepare for NOISE! Fortunately it was a nice day and we were able to eat outside. I ordered the fish and chips - the fish was fresh and nummy, but the fries were battered which I did not like. I wish the waiter... More
