My friends took me here a while back (I think in 2009), and I have to say that I've had one of the best burritos from this place. They are known for their famous sauce, which I had the privilege of tasting. There's just something in that sauce that made me remember this place, even after many years.

The food is always great here. It is located right next to SJSU. There are many college students and young adults that come here. The restaurant is in an old victorian house on San Carlos, so it is pretty tight when it is busy. Great Mexican food!!

Went in search of breakfast tacos instead found something even better - delicious and different breakfast burrito! Fresh and homemade with just the right blend of egg and chorizo. Had to try the sauce based on other reviews and it is very different and good but just had a taste - It was perfect without any sauce. Saturday morning early... More

There is very little room to sit down in this place, but if you eat it there, outside, or in your hotel room it wont matter - it will be good anywhere! I got a burrito. It was so big I could barely hold it! The flavor was great! The chips and salsa were just your standard. We paid $15... More

I've came here because it was supposed to be the best Tex-mex in San Jose. Seriously? this is a fast food! OK, I've driven upto here and I'm hungry. I'm not feeling adventurous so I'm sticking to a regular Burrito and I pray not to be sick this evening. Opening it up, hey, that's actually not bad, it's even quite... More

Its the sauce that makes this place. I always stop by here when I'm passing thru. My favorite is the quesadillas, tacos are really good too.

La Vic is known for its orange sauce, don't forget the sauce. Its right next to San Jose State & its right in the heart of the night clubs in down town San Jose. On Friday & Saturday nights its crawling with people coming out of the clubs & students. We like to visit during the day or early evenings... More

When I was in college I could only choose between Taco Johns and Taco Bell. Those two aren't in the same ball game. Tasty food. Served fast. Doesn't break the wallet. And the Orange Sauce is a great addition. Not sure why the average price is $20. I overspent and was under $10.

Family owned. Popular. Cheap food. Average Mexican food. But, Orange sauce is what people come here for! Everyone loves their orange sauce and its spicyyyy! If your in San Jose, you need to try this place. The service is bad though.

A big hit with locals, this place has a reputation for incredible breakfast burritos. This Mex-food lover was completely satisfied with the awesome chorizo and egg burrito he got, as we're the other folks in the group. Their sauce/salsa is perfect and not too hot. The kitchen and dining area is clean as are the bathrooms. All packaged in an... More
