Henry's Hi Life has good drinks as well as great steaks and ribs. Service is good. Since is is close to San Jose arena (SAP Center) it is popular for many to go to before attending an event there.

This place is definitely 5 stars for food and drink. The problem is location. If you can find this place, you will really enjoy the steaks. We searched for it because we had seen it featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I lived in San Jose until I graduated high school and never knew about the place. Just be careful... More

This is a kind of hole-in-the wall place with a long history in town. Six of us went there for lunch and had a great time. It's nothing fancy and there are not a whole lot of choices, but what they serve is very good. Between us, we had the baby back ribs, BBQ chicken, and tri- tip steak salad.... More

This is a great place to eat within walking distance of the area. Ribs and steaks are the specialty. Don't come if you expect a light meal. You take a number and order and then wait to be seated. Be prepared, if you go on a night where there is a function at the arena to wait 30-90 minutes! Try... More

This place is tucked away and looks like a bar. It does good looking ribs and steak at reasonable prices. The beer is good as well. Recommended.

Come hungry cause the portions are delish & are big. I came in a group of 4 & we all had a chance to try each others food & everything was good. They have a bar as well that is full of locals. Expect to wait a while to be seated. You must try it out

I can't say enough about this casual steakhouse. It's a wonderful from the way the business is organized, plus they deliver excellent steaks at reasonable prices. Every time I return, I relieve my college days when this used to be one of my regular haunts to escape dorm food. It looks like it would be an ideal spot for Hockey... More

Get ready to wait, and that's half the fun. The crowd the night we visited was 90% Sharks fans and they hiked to the stadium for the game, leaving us and lots of other customers comfortably ensconced in the bar, enjoying the parade. You take a number and when that number is called, you place your order. When your order... More

Please pardon my pun. Couldn't help myself. But onto the review. This is a fine/fun choice for ribs, draft beer and atmosphere. This trip was my second to Hi-Life and it will be my regular place when leaving the airport. Had great ribs, tasty sides and good local draft beer. Haven't been there for the hockey games but I can... More
