Dear Falafel Drive Inn - I love you!

Mmmmm, mmmmm good! Always a line, but it goes fast. Inexpensive and fast service. This is the best falafel I've ever tasted. It was a perfect blend of spices with a crunch that left me wanting more. They put a spicy sauce on it that adds a perfect balance of flavor. Thank you for making the... read more

Please is small on the street. It is always busy at lunch time. Line always run very fast though. Food is decent and tasty.

I might have driven right by this place, except for having read the reviews here. It is worth going out of your way for! The food is very fresh and tasty, and the service is quick and friendly. The prices are low. We will go back.

We flew into San Jose aiport on our way to the Big Sur Marathon this year, and wanted to grab a bite to eat before making the trek to Monterey. Having heard about this joint, we decided to judge the food for ourselves. Superb is an absolute understatement for the falafel sandwich with the diner's special spicy/sweet sauce, which blends... We were driving through town and wanted something fast and simple. This place was perfect. The added bonus was the food was great. We sampled several things on their menu - falafels, hummus, gyros and even some traditional drive inn items - corn dogs, fires and shakes. Everything was excellent and reasonably priced.

After I'd been here the first time -- crammed into a too-small car with co-workers for a 20-mile round trip from work -- I told my dad about it. Silly me, he'd been here plenty of times when he worked nearby. In the 1970s. It's still here. Still tasty. Sooooo tasty. Completely no frills. Seating is outdoors at picnic tables... More

If you need a Greek fix this is the place to go. You can tell at lunch by the size of the line that you're in for a treat. Everything is delicious, you can't go wrong here :)

Love this place and have loved it for 30 years. I used to leave SJSU campus and risk being late for class, just to get a falafel. Now my daughters love it. It has never let me down!

I remember the very first time visiting The Falafel Drive In. I loved it. Even back in 2002 you had to wait in line. The food was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, since the airing of DDD & Guy Fieri's visit, I think the quality has suffered because of the overwhelming popularity. I have been there several times in the last... More

We have more meals here than we'd like to admit. Love the gyros and dolmas. Only problem is it's becoming a victim of its own popularity, and the lines are getting long...
