I can't remember the name of the food I got, but it was good and it was fun to try something new; the portion was a bit small. We got our food pretty quickly. We got there just before the line got pretty long. Seating is outdoors.

Went at an in-between hour and place was still quite busy. This is a sit down at an outdoor table, order at the window kinda place. I had a gyro which was pretty good - the large version has TONS of meat, btw. My friend seems to have gotten a bit ill from her's.

I went their because I love Falafel and they were rated quite high. It was in a pretty sleazy area and I didn't notice it at first. Their food was fabulous but their murals were what made it one of the highlights of 2014! Best of all I was late and my my daughter bought me dinner. Wish one of... More

We've been going to Falafel Drive In for years, whenever we're in the San Jose area. Their falafel is sensational--light, crunchy, and zesty. And their babaganoush is out of this world--light, smokey, not at all greasy. Turn-around time on an order is very quick. Love this place. We have a friend from the Middle-east who says you'd be hard-pressed to... More

It's all about the food -- and the funky scene of this old drive-in restaurant converted to walk-up. Perfectly constructed and fried falafel, fresh pita (they turn over fast!) and fruit shakes. If this gem has been hiding from you, it's time to dive in!

These little golden balls of goodness have just the right amount of crunchiness and flavor. You forget you are not eating meat. I like to eat it with lots of hot sauce. It is quite a unique San Jose experience. To complete the package, try it with the banana shake. It's one of my favorite places to bring my out-of-town... More

Lines can be long but the food is definitely worth it. The falafel salad is a favorite of mine but get the hot sauce - it makes the salad! I have had the hummus & the gyros and it's all good. The banana shake is yummy & refreshing.

And I'm not the only one. Any time you drive by, there's a long line, but I tell you the line moves quickly and it's worth the time. I consider this a treat. Food is GREAT! Gyros, falafels, milkshakes, pita chips with hummus and don't forget a baklava.
