Excellent Coffee with a Lovely Atmosphere

Found this while visiting my daughter at ballet intensive at Ballet San Jose. Amazing to find a great cappuccino like I had in Rome in an atmosphere and building evocative of the cafés in Rome as well. Two mornings here now, yesterday a ham egg and cheese croissant good , and this morning's spinach feta croissant was an even better... More

Stumbled on this coffee shop while staying at the Weston hotel around the corner. Ordered a ham, egg, and cheese croissant and a tall cappuccino for breakfast and it was all SO good. The sandwich was delicate yet hot and full of tasty ingredients. However, the coffee was the best. No bitter taste, just a cup of Rich goodness. Highly... More

We stumbled across Caffe Frascati and their three wheeled expresso/cafe truck in Los Gatos, immediately recognized a "real" expresso machine, and ordered an expresso and two macchiatos. While a bit worried that they wouldn't have the power on a truck to really steam the milk and make the expresso, we were happily surprised. We lived in Italy up to November... More

Went a couple of times during our trip because we were staying so close. The service was good, the coffee was pretty good just a little strong for me. They had music too, and an upstairs loft to sit at. It was a little warm up there a fan would have been nice.

Stopped by for an espresso before the symphony. Delicious, as was spouse's iced americano. Pleasant, expert barista. Warm, relaxed atmosphere. Didn't sample any of the yummy-looking snacks and pastries. Lots of seating + active wifi.

Having lived in San Jose for over two years I found Cafe Frascati. Hidden away from the main strip it reminded my of cafés in Europe. Live music was being played and the tea actually tasted like tea. Great place to relax and watch the world go by whilst supping tea.

Not the place to go if you're in a hurry and want some crappy coffee to take away. Here they take their time to brew it right. Even for a standard americano. I advise you to take a moment, have a seat, enjoy the jazzy atmosphere, and try one of their delicious coffee. Fresh juice and food is also very... More

On a conference in San Jose for a week, so great to find a place just off the walk between the Fairmont and the Conference Centre. On these conferences, the coffee/drinks are horrendous, so great to find this cafe and to get 30mins to yourself over a great coffee. Good atmosphere. One day ate there (ham sandwich, I think), and... More

We were on the long drive from San Francisco to Paso Robles and checked reviews for a a light lunch. This was a good decision as the coffee was up there with the best and the freshly made paninis were really tasty. The atmosphere was busy and buzzy. The wait for the food was fine given the quality.
