Description: Fahrenheit is the South Bay’s premiere venue for dining, entertainment and special events. With innovative design concepts by award winning designer Jones Baker. Fahrenheit Restaurant & Lounge, located in the heart of downtown San Jose, celebrates Contemporary California Cuisine. With the use of organic and sustainable ingredients, our "farm to table" approach uses nothing but the best produce, poultry, fish, and meat available from local farmers, ranchers, and fishermen. These ingredients provide the inspiration behind our ever-evolving menu. Wild Herb Crusted Sea Bass, Creekstone Hanger Steak, Ahi Tuna Tartare Tostada, and Asian Pear & Green Apple Salad are just some of the samples on the seasonal menu. The beverage program adopts the same philosophy, featuring boutique wines and beer from local vineyards and breweries, and delicious craft cocktails created by our master mixologists. We invite you to experience the best of California!

Visited after reviewing various options in San Jose. So glad we chose this place. Food was excellent and our waiter Greg was extremely friendly, attentive, and efficient. Definitely try it out!!

Started as a nice enough restaurant--decent food at a decent price. Then moved to a stupid order at the counter for lunch and pay in advance routine. Service was always from bad to awful. Restaurant still open, but starting around 10:00 p.m., depending on the DJ, ghetto thugs from as far away as Oakland show up to pay too much... More

My companion and I made 5pm reservations at Fahrenheit so that we could make a 6:45pm show that was a couple of blocks away - which I explained to the hostess and our waitress. I knew 5pm was early but I did not want to have to rush through the meal. We arrived on time only to discover the restaurant... More

It is normally recommended to make a reservation for this place, however my daughter and I happened to walk by it and walked in and a table for two was available. Yeah, we enjoyed our dinner very much. The atmosphere was very relaxed and service was excellent. She had shrimp tacos and marinated olives over hummus which was very good.... More

OK, so the most important aspect of a Resturant is "the food". On that front, this place is a middle of the road, 3 star. Business dinner for 5, 3 steaks, 1 rib, 1 fish and everyone indicated it was just okay. Location is nice enough, wait staff friendly and efficient, And dessert was pretty good, although somewhat expensive. However... More

Fahrenheit Restaurant in downtown is the best fine dining in San Jose bar none. The food is fresh and farmed locally from Northern California which speaks volumes about this place since many restaurants tend to not do this or try to but while passing along the costs to the customers. At Fahrenheit, you get exceptional food and service while not... More

What a find for an early dinner upon arriving in San Jose after a long day of travel. Convenient to my hotel and I lucked upon a happy hour that included not just drinks, but happy hour food selections as well. I had a variety of small plates, all at half-price. The cheese board was my favorite, since I am... More
