Little building, green leather upholstery, even at the bar seating. Little cafe opened for breakfast and lunch. My wife and I went there for breakfast each morning before I went to training for the day. Juana was our server. Always smiling, friendly, and always prompt. Coffee never got cold. We ordered (over the course of three days) eggs with linguica,... More

I was staying in the neighborhood and walked over to catch some breakfast at Bills Cafe on the Alameda. I went early about 8am and the place was busy but as a solo I easily got a prime seat at the bar. The other patrons were very friendly and most of them were regulars who were happy to share their... My first visit for breakfast at Bill's...why have I never been here before when visiting the area? Man, you GOTTA order the chorizo scramble, it's insanely delicious! (Photo) All plates were delivered quick, fresh and hot, by friendly servers who knew their menu and did not mind questions or coffee refills or our silly, loud family visit. Great experience. Highly... More

My friend who used to live in San Jose took me here when we were in town, and it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. We went around 12:30 and were told it would be a 45 minute wait, which we expected since it's very popular. We only waited 25-30 minutes so that was a nice... More

Loved the interior. Very nice place. Good food. I had their "Bread Pudding French Toast" and it was very good. My husband enjoyed his breakfast too. A lot of food!

Actually not always, been to some places that were crowded and had a terrible meal. But that's NOT the case at Bill's cafe. Good home made food, traditional stuff with no fanfare's. I'll be adding this to my list for lunch appointments with friends.

The restaurant is very busy place, no where to find parking at 11am. We had short wait +/- 5min. As we where aware. Our waitress handling was somewhat professional. Room our order but never came over to ask for refills, or how we where doing as typical wait staff do. Then suddenly she disappeared and we where left with no... More

Absolutely the best breakfast we've ever eaten at a restaurant. The omelet was perfect and the Bread Pudding French Toast was out of this world. If I lived closer, I'd have breakfast there every single day!

Bills is right down the road from my house and I eat here almost every day. My favorite dish is the hash brown skillet. It has amazing quality. The one dollar tequila shots also always make my husband excited and wanting to constantly return. The service is fairly good but it tends to be very crowded and hard to get... More
