Delicious Breakfast

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Bill's Cafe. The staff was extremely attentive and the portions adequate. My partner said the crab cakes were ok but my egg scramble with chicken sausage, spinach and asparagus was delightful. I'm excited to return to the San Jose area again for breakfast.

A group of us went to this restaurant while visiting the area for Super Bowl 50. We were seated immediately and our waitress took our orders quickly. When the food arrived it was very fresh, hot and tasted delicious. I ate pancakes and bacon. The pancakes were as big as a plate and perfect. The bacon was exactly as ordered.... More

I have eaten here many times, mostly for breakfasts, and it never fails to please. Country potatoes are wonderful, not mushy, not hard. Recently had Eggs Benedict with avocado. Delicious. Sauce not overly heavy. Parking is a problem, especially on a Sunday morning, so if you see a parking spot on the street a block away - grab it. Service... More

Get here early (before 8am) for the best experience as the line grows out of the door most weekends otherwise. The food is, overall, pretty good and always arrives hot and ready for everyone. Although the "kids' menu" is less tailored than the one over at Stacks in Campbell, our kids love the pancakes, and their oatmeal is pretty good... More

Bill's Cafe is solid, down-to-earth breakfast food served fast by a smiling waitstaff that aims to please. All the standard fare at fair prices for those in a hurry to catch a flight at SJC. If you're not in a hurry, however, linger over a Mimosa. You won't regret it!

Love this place. Typical American cafe experience, friendly staff, great food. Orange juice fresh and sweet. Forget hotel breakfasts.

Firstly, we were there for breakfast on Halloween. Great costumed wait-staff, a riot! This restaurant has some of the largest portions I have ever seen. That said, the food was very good. Bread-pudding French Toast and Bacado Omelette (Bacon & Avocado) were our morning choices and they were great. Many sides are included, such as eggs, bacon, sausage, hash-browns, or... More

Visited Bill's on a Sunday morning before 9 a.m. Had about a 15 minute wait, but they had complimentary coffee available. We were seated in the porch section which was a bit chilly and very loud. We had eggs, potatoes, toast and pancakes. The red potatoes were fried with green pepper and onion and were very flavorful and tasty. The... More

Had breakfast here twice while staying in San Jose. Obviously very popular place as it was constantly busy. Service was very good and friendly. On second visit was seated on porch, which was very loud. French toast, bacon, fried eggs, oatmeal, coffee all very good and would definitely order again. Country sausage was bland and dry. Poached eggs were overcooked... More

Bill's is a hopping place especially because it is so close to SCU. On the weekend, plan to arrive before 9 am or be prepared for a lengthy wait. Coffee is free while waiting and often a chair is provided outside. The service staff knows their stuff and move quickly. The food is good ol' American breakfast favorites some with... More
