Because of competition, the price of dim sum in the area is pretty cheap. I was in the bay area area and some of the dishes are $4 a dish. Over here they are $1.35 on every dish, large, medium or small, Monday through Friday. So the price i right. The quality is average and service is not bad. For... More

We frequent this place for weekend gathering and the food has always matched up to our expectations. The portion definitely justified the prices you paid. Highly recommended!

Fun, loud and cheap. Average cost of 3 pieces about $2.00. Fresh hot dim sum. Waiters walk around hocking their dishes. You just point at what you want. We had a blast before we knew it we had 6 dishes on our table! Pace yourself when you go.

I went there on June 29, 2013. I like the dim sum because they were hot. There are many carts selling almost the same thing. The worse thing is that even the waiters were pushing dim sum. I tried to get a glass of water or chili paste but they were selling dim sum and too busy.

Went to the above establishment on a Sunday for Dim Sum. Will never ever go back. The quality of the food is horrible! Some of their food was spoiled due to being a non seller. We had to request a refund. Instead, they would only give you credit on a following item of your choice. The selection is poor and... More

The Capital Seafood restaurant that I'm talking about is a few blocks from SpringHill Suites Pasadena, Arcadia. We have lunched here with my daughter's friend. Its on Sunday, so the place was truly busy! But it worth the wait. Dim sum were all delicious and superb. I ordered my fav chicken feet and its so yummy! So much food to... More

First of all we got there early on Sunday........just after they open at 9:00 busy, but got a table no problem. 2nd, we (a caucasian and a latina) went with Chinese friends who invited us and had been there before. So, they were able to ask questions, and understand the answers, and they knew that when they wanted something from... More

Came here on Sunday for lunch for a family reunion to celebrate my aunt's 70th bday. It was packed, but we had no problem extending our reservation to 2 tables. Ordered some dim sum and also the fancy banquet feasts and they were quite generous with the extra desserts. Well, I did shell out $870 to feed 16 adults. Abalone,... More

As advertised, you can get the Alaska King crab for $6/lb when you order $50 worth of dinner. They charge the crab for 8 lb., prepared the way you wanted. It was very good and fresh and fast. Very satisfied with the dinner. The restaurant is packed at dinner time, either go early to go late to avoid the wait

You can usually judge an ethnic restaurant by the percentage of patrons of that ethnicity. New Capital was filled with Chinese people - and us. There was an amazing and endless parade of carts with delicious offerings. The shu mai, cha su, kailan and kangkung were done perfectly. We particularly liked the yeast buns filled with sweet barbecue pork. Fresh... More
