I was in San Dimas due to an early licensure exam the next day and to avoid any food mishaps, I decided to go “safe” and have a steak and potato. I found Cask and Cleaver. The reviews weren’t great but I knew that I was not headed to a fine dining establishment. My food was predictable. The steak was... More

The food is delicious and the salad buffet is amazing!! We sit at the bar and get a couple of well priced appetizers and feel like we got a good deal!!

The restaurant offers a wide variety of steaks, plus the usual prime rib, pork ribs, chicken and salmon. Ate there with the family three times over the summer. One time food was great, same dish another time disappointing. The prices are reasonable, and the all you can eat salad that comes with most meals - can be a meal in... More

Took the family (6 of us) there for steak dinner while on vacation. It took 9 minutes before we were even greeted. Then were asked to wait "10 minutes or so" till they had time to clean off one of the many dirty tables. We waited a few more minutes and decided the service was just not good so we... More

I am always curious about Cask N' Cleaver because of their their advertisement. so I finally got a chance to meet with a friend there in San Dimas. I should have taken the hint where there are very few customers.. Anyways, the quality of steak is so so poor. Worst than Norms steak.. which is pretty bad as well. The... More

We went to see the live music in the lounge here last night and decided to have dinner also, bad idea. We had an appetizer of a flat bread pizza that was greasy, my husband had a dry burger literally nothing on it but a slice of onion and tomato, I had the chopped salad that was bland with runny... I hadn't been in this store for years. The minute I walked in I was overpowered by strong disinfectant smells. The ladies' room smelled like bubble gum; the rest of the restaurant smelled of another strong disinfectant smell. We nearly left. We sat in the bar for a drink. We were the only ones in the entire store. The bartender... More

I decided to go to the Cask N Cleaver in San Dimas because it was closer to me than the one located in Rancho Cucamonga, which I've been to many times and have always had excellent food. I went with my daughters on a Sunday night July 2009, and while there was barely anyone in the restaurant when we arrived... More
