Town Restaurant in San Carlos, CA has some of the best food in the Bay Area. There steaks are good quality beef along with great sides to go with the meat and they have a great variety of other meals. The ambiance is fantastic with very comfortable booths. The bar area is nice with TV's that always have sports on.... More

Too loud. Not good for families, unless you yell. The bar and TVs are the central focus, which takes away from the open kitchen if you sit on the bar side. Food is just ok.

Trendy and fun steakhouse that offers an upscale ambiance with a nice bar. Food: Great. Shared grilled artichoke and ribs. Drinks: wine list offers 1/2 bottles really good wine. The bar has popular craft beers on tap. Tip: sat outside and avoided the hour plus wait.

This is a great spot for the professional mid 20s to mid 40s crowd, for either just drinks or a nice sit down dinner for date night. The last time I went, it was for a sit down dinner. Be warned, dinner for two with drinks will be around $200 or more after tax and tip, but it's well worth... More

I Was in the area for business so I stopped by for dinner. The place feels like a bar which is a steakhouse. Service was good, for 18$ I got half of a rotisserie chicken with two sides. To that I added a cool pint of beer. Good time.

Last night the family assembled at a great restaurant. The steaks were all fantastic and the service staff was exceptional. Only complaint would be the noise level as the pace and movement was rapid fire. We ordered one of each of the desserts for this "graduation" party and were not disappointed. Really a great restaurant and experience for carnivores.

Steak was perfect. Atmosphere is lively. The service is friendly. The price is expensive but it is value for money. I recommend for that special night out. You will need to book as it is usually full.

I was staying in San Carlos on business and whenever I am in the US I do look forward to a good steak. Town delivered just what I needed. Dining alone I was delighted to sit at the Chef’s table overlooking the kitchen. On seating I ordered a beer (Mirror Pond Pale Ale) and told my server that I needed... More

Decent service, very experienced wait staff, delicious steaks. My wife and I visit here about once every six weeks. We have yet to have a bad experience. The only small complaint is that it is generally very crowded so be prepared to wait if you don't have reservations.

It is a little pricey but good for a heavier meal. It has a nice selection of appetizers if you just want a lighter meal. It has a busy bar and is always crowded.
