Hostess snooty, server rushed, $17 hamburger well-done when ordered rare, server not available to send it back, soggy French fries, 15+ minutes to get check. Try at your own risk.

Town has solid food, great service, and reasonable prices considering they dominate the "scene" in downtown san carlos. It can be loud at dinner, but it is a happening place!

My wife and I, our son and daughter-in-law, and 3 grandsons, all under 10, dined here on Labor Day weekend and it was a real treat. Our server Natalie was friendly and very tolerant of our boisterous party. The food was served quickly, was prepared correctly and tasted great. I will definitely return.

For any occasions, Town is your safe bet in SC, it is not cheap, but the food is very good and the atmosphere is great, it is a fun pace to visit for some drinks and appetizers as well as a full meal.

This is a regular stop for me when I'm in the bay area. The food is always good. A little disappointed with my last visit due to a sleight of hand by the waiter. I ordered two bottles of wine, he brought out two and had me taste one and had another person taste the second, which - was not... More

Town Restaurant in San Carlos, CA has some of the best food in the Bay Area. There steaks are good quality beef along with great sides to go with the meat and they have a great variety of other meals. The ambiance is fantastic with very comfortable booths. The bar area is nice with TV's that always have sports on.... More

Too loud. Not good for families, unless you yell. The bar and TVs are the central focus, which takes away from the open kitchen if you sit on the bar side. Food is just ok.

Trendy and fun steakhouse that offers an upscale ambiance with a nice bar. Food: Great. Shared grilled artichoke and ribs. Drinks: wine list offers 1/2 bottles really good wine. The bar has popular craft beers on tap. Tip: sat outside and avoided the hour plus wait.

This is a great spot for the professional mid 20s to mid 40s crowd, for either just drinks or a nice sit down dinner for date night. The last time I went, it was for a sit down dinner. Be warned, dinner for two with drinks will be around $200 or more after tax and tip, but it's well worth... More

I Was in the area for business so I stopped by for dinner. The place feels like a bar which is a steakhouse. Service was good, for 18$ I got half of a rotisserie chicken with two sides. To that I added a cool pint of beer. Good time.
