Creola is one of our favorites and a regular place to enjoy a fine dinner with friends or family. From the outside you get no sense of how nicely decorated it is inside. A fine menu, good service, and easy access from mid-Peninsula San Francisco Bay Area.

Nice to have something a bit out of the ordinary - food was not cheap, but was well cooked and slightly different. Waiters were very attentive and the place was busy. Had the alligator, which was very pleasant - not something I had had before!

Love the tuna with wasabi. Never had a bad meal and some of the cocktails are wonderful, the Sazezrac especially. Good desserts and interesting beers.

I enjoy Creo La. My favorites are Shrimp Creo La and the Oyster appetizer. The house salad and combo pie dessert are very good also. I wish there were more choices for children (my kids split the fried chicken, with beignets for dessert.) The bill is high because the kids are eating adult entrees and they don't eat the accompanying... More

A very tucked away restaurant. Lacks atmosphere though the staff was very friendly. The complimentary cake was a bit odd.

This place was terrible. Way over priced bad food and poor service. Plus, the inside looks a lot like the outside, run down. Sure, it's located in an expensive area so I suppose the owner thinks it's okay to charge about $30 a plate, which would be fine if it was good, but it isn't good. The food wasn't prepared... More

We visited this restaurant based on the reviews we read on TA and we're really glad that we did. The staff were all very friendly and happy to make recommendations, we didn't book ahead but they had no problem seating us straight away which was great. We had the soft shell crab and the shrimp and crayfish étouffée, both of... More

All the talk of New Orleans Cajun food made us hungry. Took the opportunity to book a reservation for my husband's birthday on a Friday night. The restaurant was quite busy. Lovely atmosphere and nice music. We ordered the seafood gumbo to start. It was delicious. Flavor and spices were perfect. My daughter had the crabcake. It was fabulous as... More

Hubby and I went here for our anniversary which turned out being a great choice - we both had the Shrimp Creola and it was yummy! Hubby had gumbo as a starter which he loved and I had an excellent green salad. I also had a Hurricane cocktail which was quite good and a peanut butter chocolate mousse for dessert... More

Creola is one of our favorite restaurants on the Peninsula. From the outside of the building, you would never expect such a lovely interior decor. Even better, you will be amazed at the food. I love Creole cuisine, and this restaurant has never disappointed me. Great menu choices, ingredients, and service. Come to Creola for a great meal and a... More
