Good West Coast Cajun

It was a delightful restaurant. The ambiance and service were excellent and I felt like I was somewhere in the Deep South. The drinks were well poored. The food was fairly good but I found there were too many deep fried or breaded dishes. It may have been that we just didn't order the right dishes... read more

I've been coming here for years on Fat Tuesday. They have it theme decorated for Mardi Graz then and have a fun "swamp" band and a dance floor. There's a special menu for Mardi Graz too. They have great food and the chief will make you something special if you ask. I like their Shrimp Creola, even though it's off... More

We ordered 2 bowls of hot seafood gumbo (everyone loved), seafood hushpuppies appetizers, fried chicken which came with mashed potatoes (and the chicken skin comes right off leaving a very moist delicious leg and 2 thighs) and greens and cornbread, and pre-fix meal including a nice selection of mains, dessert, and appetizers. Corn bread was another favorite. We also had... More

I visited here while on a business trip to the area. The food was vey nice and tasty and reasonably priced. Service was good and so was the ambience - I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A really special thing about this restaurant is the owner makes it a point to personally visit every table and greet the guests. The menu has many special items on it. I like the cajun catfish. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant is small and intimate.

Revisited an old friend and we were not disappointed. We moved out of the area some years ago and had an opportunity to go back to some old stompin' grounds. This is still a great restaurant, as it has been for close to 20 years. The jambalaya was delicious! The serving staff were friendly and gracious. The portions were generous... More

Went there for New Year's Eve dinner after checking out the menu online. It's a 4-course dinner - 2 appetizers, 1 entree and 1 dessert. The food as usual is delicious. My friend ordered the Filet Mignon and it's the best we ever had so far - tender and delicious. I had the Bass filet and it was good. Service... More

With all of the good restaurants in the area I had high hopes for a great meal here. It turned out to be the worst of several that I had during my visit. The building appeared to be an old coffee shop with a quick and easy make over in a somewhat industrial area. Not much atmosphere to speak of.... More

Real NoLa creole cuisine. Eautoffe (shrimp and crayfish) was excellent. Small place with older groups as well as young couples.

Had a late brunch last Sunday and the food was simply delicious! Had their vanilla-infused lemonade and crispy boudin balls as appetizer. Tried their special seafood dish and it was great! Service is quite attentive. Will definitely come back for more!
