I checked into Villa Monte nearby, didn't feel like going out. Based on tripadvisor, I ordered takeout from this place. Had a West Coast Salad, Lasagna, and garlic bread. Everythiing was very tasty, and flavorful. Restaurant looked nice too, but didn't eat there.

The food is actually a 5, I would just like to see more options. Everything I have ever ordered has been great. With respect to atmosphere, I think they are just trying to take advantage of all the available space. Some booths, greater spacing, or other means of segregation would be great.

Where did they get their name? Probably the signage was bought by a previous owner. Fortunately our hotel recommended them for Italian food. Wow, they sure know how to cook. A delicious salad followed by a couple of entrees that left us in a much better mood than we had when we walked in. Service was friendly and efficient. Will... More

There are a lot of diverse restaurants in San Bruno. West Coast Cafe's name would never tell you it is a small Italian Food eatery. It gets 5 stars not because it is the best meal ever had, but certainly on eof the best in San Bruno, and better than may restaurants close by in other cities like Millbrae and... More

I would never eat there again. The food was frozen and microwaved. Have they ever heard of eating clean. Preparing meals with fresh local produce and seafood/meats.

This is not a café at all. It is an excellent little restaurant which was recommended to us by the receptionist at Villa Montes. We would not of visited had it not been for the recommendation or by walking past outside. Food was delicious and lots of it which was freshly prepared. The service was very good too with them... You can not tell by its name that it is an Italian restaurant, and a good one at that! We went here twice this week and on both occasions, we were happy with the food and the service. The place has a section at the back good for a large (40 or so people) party. Service was very good: Jose,... More

In San Bruno for business. West Coast Café was recommended by the front desk at our hotel which is just a couple of blocks away. We found the café to be exactly as the other reviewers note. The food is excellent! And, the service is great, too. Very friendly staff - lots of smiles and appreciation for my party stopping... More
