My associate and I were on business visiting from Florida which has some pretty decent Mexican restaurants. We had booked what turned out to be a very unfortunately miserable hotel in the area. Justin found that this restaurant had a Happy Hour which we sorely needed! Not only did they have great prices on several dishes they made "fresh" margarita's... More

Went here on a Saturday night at 9pm. Pretty empty & the bar area was dying a quick death. We were seated immediately. Then came a procession of THREE different servers. One for chips & salsa and to take drink orders, the 2nd one to ask us if everything was okay (we had just sat down, so that was just... More

Mixto ceviche is awesome and I would go back again and again to have some. Margaritas are so so and although the taco platter was big, there was not much taste. Chips and salsa are overflowing and service is good. Funky little spot voted 2014 best restaurant of some kind or another. Great menu selection. Will go back for ceviche... More

We visited for lunch one day (staying in the super 8 next door). Service was very fast! I had the sangria--delicious. The guacamole was freshly made and very good as well. Our main courses were great (highly recommend the dungeonous crab enchiladas). I will say, the prices were a tad high for what we normally pay for Mexican food, but... More

I can't count the number of times I've been to Don Pico's or the number of friends who I've introduced to their food. Family run, local gem. Recipes are from Issac Mejia and his family. Sadly, Issac is no longer with us, but the place retains is passion for good food, good people and good times. My wife loves the... More

In a word, YUM! Fresh guacamole bursting with flavor, tomatillo sauce addictive. I eat almost exclusively a plant based diet, and had a few choices!!! My only complaint was they stopped making the homemade corn tamales, I was so looking forward them. Desserts were scrumptious, the wait staff was attentive. All of our meals fast, fresh, hot and tasty!

First time here. Dingy older restaurant, music pretty loud. Service prompt and friendly. I was very disappointed with the chips (stale), and fish tacos were very greasy. Refried beans were awesome. Margarita was VERY small for $8.00 and not that good. Kitchen looked clean and organized. I won't be back.

Family restaurant. Mexican food. On good days, service is friendly, fast, and efficient. Sometimes it is slow, food is cool, and orders are not quite right. On good days, the food is hot and delicious, made fresh, big helpings. Sometimes food is overcooked or left standing until it cools. Usually the place is clean and bright, but sometimes messy people... More
