We have been eating at Fresh Choice for year. Went one day and found it (and all of the other's) to be closed. I read in the SJ Merc News that the Corp had financial problems. The president is try to reopen some stores under the name California Fresh. Haven't seen one yet.

The Junipero Serra, Daly City restaurant is apparently the only one left on the Peninsula (opposite BevMo!) and we were assured by the cashier that it will remain, only the name will change. The food has taken a turn for the worse in terms of hot entrees and soups: no more meatballs in the marinara sauce and no more chicken... More

Both my friend and I started getting violently sick at the SAME time after we both ate at the San Bruno Fresh Choice. I have only eaten at the Palo Alto and Sacramento restaurants and NEVER gotten sick. But this place on El Camino Real...ugh...never again...shady looking local, shoulda trusted my gut intinct, but we wanted to eat close by... More

This Fresh Choice is so much nicer than the Rohnert Park location! We found more choices in Pastas, Soups and Salads here. The bins were kept full and salads looked fresh. Is the food here better because it's in a more upscale location?

I love the seasonal salads they come up with. Most recently, the apple/walnut salad last night. The pizza is always tasty with their special crust, which leans on the crunchy thick side, a good thing! The soups are always good and the deserts have a good variety. Not bad for an all you can eat salad/soup buffet!

Haven’t been here in years. This place has improved. Have meat and fish sides at an additional cost. Great value and good food. Loved the squash soup, baked yams, and my duly-created salad. Have senior discounts.
