Has been in business since 1958 but is in a rough part of town. Survives by huge established clientele. Has wonderful, thin-crust, "loaded" pizzas and ice-box frosted mugs of draft beer. Seems it belongs more in Connecticut than California. Owned by same family for 50+ years. No website. Phone (909) 887-1550. I can write the first review. Thanks, Mike McCoy

A must when in The Inland Empire

This was a very popular, unpretentious spot when I frequented it 54 years ago, especially after a high school football game. Judging from the crowd that was there the Saturday we went, it still is as popular and unpretentious. As other reviewers have stated, don't look at the neighborhood. Some... read more

I recently moved to SB and passed by it thinking it was a bar until I read reviews on google maps. The pizza is the best thing. They are thin crust and the toppings have a lot of flavor. The people who work there make the place inviting.

One of the best Italian meals I have ever had. ALL made in-house ! Like a TV set from the early 1950s this is a "very local" restaurant. The security bars on the windws and doors tell you that you are in San Bernardino but... the food says home in your Italian Mothers kitchen ! Yes, one of the best... More

Not just for the 38 years of my life, but my parents and grandparents have been coming here for decades and it never disappoints. Great pizza, great atmosphere with a family run attitude.

Probably been at this location for about 60 years under same ownership. Not much to look at outside, or really inside, but the pizza is the best I've ever had and I've been going there for about as long as its been open. Great back room to hold gatherings. Service is friendly and efficient. I will continue to go there... More

I have been visiting the Mug since the mid 1980's. I had not been there since 1999 and was very happy to see that the it was jsut like the last time I was there, Excellent. The service is good, the food is good, the price is good. The location leaves something to be desired so I rated it as... More

I've been a customer here since 1981 and despite the rough-looking neighborhood, there's never been an incident. The Mug is a bit hard to find now due to freeway construction in the area but that will change. Park your vehicle close to the front entrance. Inside, the old working jukebox and owner Tony's NASCAR motif still entertains and pleases. Yes... More
